We have enjoyed a few days in Letterfrack and recommend the Lodge where everyone is helpful and friendly. We have a small issue with our room on arriving and when we brought this to the attention of Mike he sorted it out for us immediately and also gave us some fantastic advice for visiting this beautiful area. I highly recommend...

just back from a family break in Connemara. We stayed in Letterfrack Lodge, a hostel in the village. We were a family of 4, two adults, 2 children (13 and 16). Our room was lovely, with a double bed for us, and bunk beds for the kids. It was bright, spotlessly clean, and had plenty of storage space. A good...

The Letterfrack Lodge was my last stop in Ireland before heading back to Dublin. By far, it has been my favorite hostel! I was planning on staying two nights and I stayed four...The rooms were very clean, charming, and spacious. The staff were my favorite part of this place! They were super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. No free breakfast but...

Visited for a meal after the park and were delighted with the quality of food and service. We were five two adults and three kids. We had the lamb shank which was gorgeous. The kids food was excellent. Would highly recommend. Very welcoming atmosphere. Note that credit card is not accepted but this seems to be the norm across the...

We had already booked a private room before discovering that the Lodge also boasts a brand new restaurant, which was extremely convenient. The menu was comprehensive and varied and the food was delicious. I can also recommend the Merlot (whose name escapes me!) and the Lodge had a selection of local craft beers for the non wine drinkers. The en-suite...

Looking for a meal after a day of Connemara hiking, we were shocked in the best possible way by the Lodge restaurant's cuisine. Featuring fresh, innovative, locally supplied foodstuffs, the offerings were superb and reasonably priced. We made our way back there each evening of our four-day stay, relishing the excellent wines, marvellous soups, homemade pastas, and a shank of...

The room was perfectly clean and we had our own bathroom for 50 euros (private room). The tenders and the waitresses are really nice and avaible to give you a lot of advices. Really good place to go to the national park and abbey of kylemore. We recommend it!

Stopped here out of curiosity when I saw that a restaurant was now open as well. I was a little concerned from the outside. First of all there is a lot of building going on and the place is a hostel. I did not fancy sharing the night with boisterous " back packers".Boy was I surprised ?.. It's an entire...
