We booked this as a last minute break. When we arrived and saw the scenery outside I was so excited but when we entered the hotel the lounge area was so outdated and old my heart sank as you can usually tell by the hotels lobby or lounge area what kind of hotel it is. We booked a deluxe room...

Just back from a one night stay in the Yeats County with family. This hotel relies on its location, and rightly so because it is spectacular. Located on Rosses Point beach which is beautiful and next door to one of the best golf courses in the west, unfortunately didn't get to play this time. But with this reliance on the...

Throughly enjoyed a mid week spa break to the Yeats Hotel. The location is perfect for a totally relaxing break. If you need shops/shopping to keep you amused then this isn't the location for you. It is beautiful and tranquil with lovely walks and a beautiful beach. We were very fortunate to have gorgeous weather although it was a bit...

This large tired hotel in a lovely location at Rosses point deserves recognition that it has survived the recession. In entering the hotel one is transformed into a bygone age of dark rooms, overstuffed furniture and aged and worn dark patterned carpets that may not have changed for at least the past 30 years. Our visit in the late sunny...

A group of 36 stayed for the bank holiday weekend. We had a wonderful experience. We had great food- full Irish breakfast and the main meals had great choice and everyone found their meal delicious. We had lovely big rooms with very comfortable beds. The Spa and Leisure Centre was excellent with a good sized swimming pool jaccusi steam room...

Functional and convenient. Very large bedroom with two (!) double beds. Very clean bathroom which has obviously been recently refurbished. Beside golf course and a bracing walk to seafront and beach. Wrap up well. In lounge be prepared to have someone lean over your chair to quiz you with "Where are you from yourself?", followed by "What part?" Reminded me...

We spent 3 nights this Easter in the family room which was plenty spacious for 2 adults and 3 young kids. Our room had been recently refurbished. Dinner was included and the food was good. There is also a kids club and the staff there were absolutely amazing in fact the best kids club staff I have ever come across...

I rang the morning of stay and accommodated my request of 2 family of 4 rooms and a single room, And at a good rate including breakfast. It seems like it has been up dated and is a cosy place with a lovely lobby with fires and comfy sofas and chairs. The staff were lovey. And the bar food we...

So this is a very dated hotel that they've tried to modernise by adding a spa and a small fitness suite/ pool. The rooms are very dated and reminded me of staying in my grannies (i.e. Hadn't changed in about 20 years!) Positives: Location - right on Rosses Point strand, brilliant for walks on the beach Spa is reasonably good...

I stayed here recently and it was a great place to explore Sligo. It's next to the beach which was lovely to go for a walk each day. The hotel itself is being renovated, and I got a room which was recently done to an excellent standard. It was a twin room I think but with two kingsize beds. We...
