Welcomed at the door by Margaret and then a pot of tea, just the sort of welcome you imagine from an Irish B and B! Great breakfast and Ritchie makes potato cakes to have with it which are lovely. I came back from town to another pot of tea which I loved, and told to help myself to a cuppa... More

Our family of four (two adults and two teens) stayed here last week en route from Dublin to Castlebar. Margaret, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us tea upon our evening arrival and provided a substantial breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and neat. We felt as though we had hotel quality lodging, but with... More

Very comfortable, friendly and about 10 mins walk to town. Breakfast is typical Irish fry and/cereals copious coffee and tea and toast. You won't always need lunch after that! Would definately stay again.

Made us very welcome, greeted us with a cup of tea. advised us on some eating places, and was willing to book it for us. We were visiting family, and they were very helpful with the location, giving us directions. Made time for each guest, finding out where you actually came home., and just generally very pleasant and friendly couple.... More

We had a fabulous stay with Richie and Margaret (the hosts). They were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. The house is located within easy distance to Mullingar. The location of the house is away from the busy road and nice and quiet. The rooms were nice and warm.

Thank you very much for the 2 days we stayed at the Novarahouse. It was very exciting to meet Bobby Horan there. And the breakfast was really really tasty. I recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in Mullingar for one or more nights. Thank you for everything.

Not far out of town. This B&B is very close to the test centre where I had to do a driving test. I found the place very quiet, friendly and comfortable. On arrival I was made welcome with a cup of fresh coffee. Recommended.

We received a warm welcome combined with a cup of tea and some goodies from Margaret and were shown to a lovely twin room with ensuite bathroom. There was lots of space, wifi and a lovely clean room. Margaret was kind enough to drop us down to Mullingar and point us in the right directions to see Joe Dolan and... More

We were very warmly greeted and offered a cup of tea the instant we came in, although we came quite late in the evening. We didn't stay long enough to get to know Mr. Deane but Mrs. Deane was very pleasant company. She also had some really good suggestions for where we could have dinner. The room we were offered...
