We choose this hotel to end our trip around Northern Portugal for some rest and relaxation and were not disappointed. The rooms and bathrooms are large, clean, modern and warm. The indoor pool and spa facilities are also good. The breakfast they have to offer is second to none with something for everybody.

I stayed here for two days and it was perfect. There was an indoor swimming pool (it was big but it wasn't very warm though). The jacuzzi was warm and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and there were a lot if international TV channels. The hotel is close to the town Amarante and the hotel staff were friendly and the...

This is a lovely hotel, within easy reach of Amarante yet in a very quiet rural location. The reception staff were all very helpful. We stayed in the original old part of the hotel and the room was large and beautifully decorated with a grand private balcony. The grounds are well maintained and the indoor pool is good. We didn't...

Most things were adequate, but not outstanding. The plastic cups in the room instead of glass was cheap. Ours were cracked which we didn't realize until port went in and just as quickly went out. The night staff did not follow through on our request for an early breakfast, but the morning desk clerk was great. It was very nice...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very good. The accommodations were nice: the room was clean, comfortable and cozy. The shared spaces were well furnished and the gardens were well preserved and very green. The staff were very nice to us and advised us what to see and where to eat nearby.

We just came back from 5 weeks australia and this hotel in north portugal shows again quality - value how it should be. 400$ in australia means 50-60$ in portugal .. and even the quality is higher. A total surprise

The Hotel is set in its own grounds with indoor pool/gym and outdoor pool. The staff cannot do enough for you right from reception to the room cleaning. The rooms are of a good size clean and with side view of the outdoor pool. The breakfast is of a good standard with a wide selection to suit everybody. Lunch and...

This hotel is everything you need if you want some days of rest. A great interior and exterior pool, a gym and a tennis courtyard will keep you occupied while you take some rest. While on the pool all you'll hear (aside from other people, of course) are the sound of birds playing music. The room was big with a...

This hotel is some way out of Amarante. Our satnav took us through some interesting narrow roads but everywhere the countryside is lovely. When we arrived there was a wedding party in the grounds with lots of children running around enjoying themselves. Although there were a lot of people being catered for, it did not interfere with the rest of...

The rooms are great, cosy and comfortable! The Spa area is really good but the staff really needs to pay more attention to the water temperature (too cold in my opinion) and to the illumination conditions! Great breakfast! It would be great to have an indoor connection between the hotel and the Spa!
