A really wonderful experience. The mansion is awesome and Joao is a really great host. You cannot expect a 5 stars hotel, since the mansion is old. However, if you decide to stay in Quinta do Campo you will have the unique occasion to live and sleep in a piece of portugal's history. Furthermore quinta do campo is located in...

We stayed at Quinta do Campo a copule of months ago. The experience was so great that we came back. Our host, the owner, Diogo Pereira was once more a wonderful host and all his family. Now they have a restaurant inside the hotel which is a great advantage. Congratulations. The apartments, should you bring your kids are wonderful. If...

We cannot recommend highly enough. We stayed in the 2 bed apartment which is lovely. It is well equipped and a great touch of a lovely basket brought to your door each morning with breakfast. The Quinta has been in the same family for 7 generations. We cannot wait to return in August.

We stayed 3 wonderfull days in this amazing manor house in the center of Portugal, very near to the McNamara beach in Nazare. The owner, goes out of is way to make us welcomed and the staff was also very nice. We never stayed in such a beautiful house. Thanks Diogo! We will come back for sure!

We stayed here for 2 weeks in order to explore the mid-Portugese country environment. The location is between Nazare and Alcobaca. Apartments are large and specious. Very friendly manager (Diego) to explain the history of the family quinta. Two Saturdays in a row there marriage celebrations, but although they lasted till after midnight we did not hear any noises. Wi-Fi...

We stayed in this authentic guesthouse just for one night. The owner Diego was helpful and friendly. Originally that was a monastery and some of the buildings stayed since 900 years. You can feel that you are living in the museum. The area is very green and has a private parking. I can recommend Granja do Vallado for people who...

This hotel possesses the most enthusiastic proprietor I have ever met. You get a tour - whether you want one or not - but go - it's fascinating. The building is old - the hotel part 200 years - some other parts 900 years old. Some of the rooms - the lounge and library have real character. The hotel bedroom...

If you want character & local/family history this is the place. Diego is a great host and the black lab can be you new best friend. This place is not one of your fancy B&B....it has a well worn character about it. One can only image what it was like to live here before it was converted into a "...

This place is located a few miles outside of Nazare in a small town out in the country. It can be hard to find and when you do, the gates will likely be closed. You must ring a bell and, hopefully, the gates will be opened unless you arrive early or late. Once inside, you will see beautiful grounds and...

The host is very proud of his heritage - justifiably so - and a tour round the house, especially the library, is an absolute must. The whole setting of the hotel is really idyllic but, and this is a very small "but", we did have a few midges join us overnight and the breakfast arrangements were not ideal especially as...
