Average rooms, albeit quite basic and ill maintained. But ideally located for attractions in the area such as the local towns and castles. Owners seem pleasant and willing to help with any thing you may need. To sum up, cheap accommodation to lay your head, cheap food, free WiFi access and ideally located

Great hosts, great location, excellent view to the mountains right in the back of the Villa. Location is just about when you enter the cosy resort of Predeal. Parking lot in front of the Villa. They have an excellent barbecue and relaxing spot with a wood rocking chair...:-) Kids will love it, parents will be relaxed.

Sighișoara is considered to be the most beautiful and well preserved inhabited citadel in Europe. In this town you can stay at Grandma's house. Is not for those who want elegance, refinement, modernity. Is a simple house, living and bedroom, and in the kitchen is an old but functional stove. Grandma's house is in the old medieval town and in...

People (owners) are very nice and they are really trying to please you. Rooms are also nice, but the location is not as good (near a very busy and noisy road). You may have trouble sleeping if you can't get the rooms with a mountain view.

Nice location for a group but either if you decide to go on your own it is perfect.... the rooms are clean... the personell which is practically the owner and hos familly and they are nice people. Overall the place is nice but the only minus is the location since the pension is situated on the side of the main...

Frist, a notice for people without a personal vehicle: this place is at the very edge of Predeal, on the side of the E60. NO sidewalks. Taxis will rob you blind if you use them. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the place has a very nice cozy theme to it. Unfortunately, the furbishings are in bad shape...

Very pleasant personnel, clean but pretty old room furbishment, could be dissapointing if you have high expectations. The view - it is as good as you look up:), not down at the national road traffic. However, it is a confortable and good "family"-like dining place with a relatively good value for the low money you pay. But only for a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As you come from Bucharest to Predeal, on the state highway, at number 28, before the bridge with the control post, on the right side, a yellow and cosy little house, with flowers at the windows and hearts at the shutters, will leap to your eyes. Grandma’s House is a pension on your taste, hospitable and joyful, intimate and beautifully arranged. And because Grandma's cooking is so good, she would be upset if you think of bringing your own food and beverages. ... more   less
