I think this is the hotel I have most enjoyed staying in on all my travels anywhere. The hotel is run by a Spanish aristocrat and his family. The building was restored by his mother to the most beautiful standard, which is now sadly fraying a bit around the edges and I feel the 5 star rating by Booking.com is...

I have recently stayed at this hotel - making the reservation through bookings.com. It clearly states that this is a 5 star hotel in Carmona but unfortunately when we arrived it was very apparent that it lost the stars a long time ago. The hotel has a wonderful ambience but is in dire need of restoration and more staff. Typical...

It was fabulous, just what we needed and a chance to see what the Spanish keep behind those wonderfully large doors and white washed walls. Even when it rained it was still beautiful. It is not a normal 5 Star, no room service, or wall to wall wifi, the rain comes under some of the doors, but the heating worked...

This is a beautiful hotel, very well located, full of history and not that expensive for what you get in atmosphere. Our room was absolutely lovely, as were all the common areas. We also had a great dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was okay, but a little skimpy for the 15 Euro price tag. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful....

Its a good experience stay in this hotel the rooms are ok (can improve the cleanses and some painting) but in overall are fine. the restaurant is nice, however the food is not that good for a fine dine, an the price is a excessive vs quality. y will not recommend to eat here, you can walk to another restaurant...

We stayed here for three nights whilst touring through Andalucia. Carmona is a small hill town (about 20 miles from Seville), with an interesting historic centre, the Casa de Carmona sits in the centr of the old town Unfortunately the weather was dreadful, when we stayed, (more rain than the region had seen in years I think) . Somehow though...

In the middle of the village of Carmona lies this beautiful palace that is a pearl of the region. With very beautiful rooms and a central garden, it's a delight for the senses. It has a old but well kept stone pool that is very refreshing specially on the hot summer days in July (some times above 50 degrees celsius)....

authenticity cannot be rated in stars: the owners of this hotel have made considerable efforts to conserve building, infrastructure, style and spirit. if you expect standard rooms of chain hotels, do not go to casa palace de carmona. if you want a personal treat and a unique experience: do go! we stayed in Carmona and rented a car to visit...

Simply beautiful room. The staff could not do enough and the owner was charming. The rooms were unique, restful and you felt like Royalty. The breakfast service was personal, relaxed, both the setting and atmosphere felt like you were a special guest in a friends home. All the rooms were round a court yard where we sat with a glass...

We booked this place for one evening based on the reviews and will echo what many others have said. It's a and charming hotel the small town of Carmona. It's very beautiful has a nice feel, history, and architecture. The owner was nice and I enjoyed talking with the Dutchman. That said I will offer a few criticisms. Wifi does...
