Capistrano is a large development of the village and San Juan. The apartments are privately owned and rented out through management agents. The décor and condition of the apartments is very much down to how well the owner keeps the apartment. The whole area is fairly well keep, in typical Spanish style ;) we stayed in san Juan the location... More

There are many apartments and rental companies in this location. The company I used was GUY P WAY and they were excellent. The service was good and they made sure that the apartment suited our requirements. I had told the rental agent that we had a car so the apartment location was not important and because of this, our apartment... More

We love El Capistrano and have visited for the last 6 years with our family. It's definitely 'marmite'! We love it as we have got to know a lovely crowd of people who we see every year and the kids have made great friends. We love staying in and cooking delicious food, often with the people we have met. The... More

The best thing about our house was the kitchen - complete with all that one needs to feel at home. The rest of the house was also clean and well presented with style - not a typical boring hotel room but rather a place with character.

My wife and I had a great time in Villa Berraquero. We used it as a base to explore Nerja which is well know to us from previous visits as well as driving to Cordoba and Estapona / Manilva. There are 2 good supermarkets within a few minutes walk (you can see one from the balcony) of the villa. You... More

There appears to be two sides to the complex: one.nearer the town and the other towards Burriana. The property we were allocated was in the latter and a fair walk to the other sides, which incidentally we never returned to. The apartment itself was clean, dry well equipped and offered wonderful views of the beach and beautiful properties in the... More

Although high up away from town. Good business service every hour for 1 euro. Very clean and comfortable. Needs either air conditioning or new fan, which was broken as not much air circulation and hard to sleep at night, otherwise was really nice apartment.

set out in the middle of no where with no phone to reception, and reception closes at 10 each night, on second night we had no electricity for 12 hours and no one to ask to come fix it, we had to pay €30.00 for use of the pool which was a ten minute walk away up hill, when we... More

Lovely place but you need a car, arrived in the dark and had to get taxi and security to find the villa no. 43, very dilapidated but quite roomy with big patio and garden. advised to check in with reception the next morning which we did to get the air con, safety deposit and pool pass, then the feat of... Awful, awful awful. Was here for a week and this pace was terrible, arrived at midnight with my wife and 1 year old daughter-had told Alpharooms to tell them we would arrive late, our key was taped to the reception door, we had let the transfer go as the original house we were told was for us is beside reception,...
