Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After an hour and a half on the motorway from Barcelona, we had to camp somewhere. The GPS guided us here - 3 star seemed OTT, but the friendly staff, excellent calamari, great view from the restaurant terrace, and 'private' beach accessed via a storm drain made it a querky stop. The pool wasn't heated (like most campsites in Spain) but clean.. Toilet facilities were not great - light in the toilet didn't work! There are loads of mobile homes that look like peoples second homes on the way to the beach. This review seems poor, but I would stay here again because of the feel of 'wild camping', almost a kiwi feel to it - and the restaurant staff ... makes a change from pristine clinical 4 star campsites ! I'd like to give it Good, but the choice is Average or Very good...

We stayed for 5 nights in August in a permanent tent by the pool, called Triganos. Every single night we were kept awake until after 2am by teenagers playing music and shouting and running around. They also dominated the swimming pool during the day with their own music system played extremely loudly, and jumping in the pool making it unsafe for families or young children. We found groups of teenagers -girls and boys and dogs - hanging out in the ladies toilets playing music. It´s very intimidating for young children and not apropriate for men to be socialising in the ladies toilets. The toilets were dirty and always covered in toilet paper as the kids obviously found it funny to vandalise the toilets. I noticed this campsite was very big, with many permanent holiday homes. The teenagers return every summer with their families and so they behave without respect to other guests at the campsite. Cars and motorbikes were driving in and out the campsite all night, and I did not feel very secure, as normally after 11pm the gates remain shut. Not in this campsite. The triganos by the pool are not very suited to elderly guests as the ground is uneven and the noise is relentless, day and night. The staff in reception, especially Mireia, were friendly and helpful, but there are not enough security staff or cleaning staff to maintain a camp site of this size and keep it safe and clean. It´s a beautiful location, right next to the beach (although again, not suitable for elderly guests as the routes to the beach are dangerous, you either have to jump over a train track or climb under tiny tunnels) so this campsite has a lot of potential but sadly ruined by disrespectful guests.

This place is almost heaven on earth. The beaches are awesome, the staff friendly. The front counter had one staff member who spoke English as my Spainish is terrible. The restaurant / bar food was amazing and cheap. The drinks were even cheaper!

Horrible campsite it's a slum Mobile home from the 40s not up to electrical standards. Window does not close. Fridge doesn't close. Dirty bedding. I don't know how you can praise things like that. Big scam because in the photo it is not the same mobile home. To avoid.

Nightmare at the campsite… which is more of a shanty town than a public dump… fortunately we were in a van, we shortened our stay… 50 euros per night for a pitch, it's a steal… especially since we couldn't use the toilets given the state (the photos speak for themselves!!!)
