I've stayed in this Premier Inn twice in the past month, and been very happy on both occasions. Location is absolutely perfect at the bottom of the high street, with a large car park (pound lane) two minutes walk away.

Both times the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and on both occasions the team members that I interacted with were very helpful, friendly and polite.

Great value for money and the breakfast was also plentiful and tasty.

When I visit Marlow I will check for availability in the Premier Inn first, it gives us everything we need at a competitive price.

We stayed for at the Premier Inn in Marlow for one night in April after having a lovely lunch at The Hand & Flowers. The hotel was easy to find. It’s in the centre of town, very close to the river. There are dropping off spaces at the front of the hotel but parking there is for a maximum of 2 hours. The hotel does not have its own car park but there is an open-air car park about 5 minutes’ walk away at a £6 charge for 24 hours. We arrived a little before the 3 pm checking in time but, as our room had already been cleaned, we were allowed to go on up a little early. We had Room 4 on the first floor which, although facing the road, was very quiet. It’s quite an old building, a bit dated and in need of refurbishing but our room was fine. As usual, they are quite basic rooms but clean and comfortable. There was tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a wall mounted tv. As most Premier Inns, it had rather limited storage facilities for clothes, etc. but fine for just one or two days. No telephone in the rooms.
The bathroom was a little dated but large and clean with a shower over the bath and with soap and shampoo in dispensers and nice thick bath towels.
We went down to the restaurant for a light bite in the evening. There was a reasonable menu that was good value for money.
We had breakfast there the next morning which offered continental buffet (eat as much as you want) which I think was around £7.50 or for a couple of £’s more you could have a cooked breakfast.
All the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
This particular Premier Inn was rather more expensive than some others in their chain and was not particularly special. I expect it was more pricey because of the location to London and that fact that Marlow is a lovely little town.

We booked well in advance and payed £80.00 total for two nights Friday to Sunday.
The parking is a 4 minute walk away and about £6.00 for 24 hours. The car park is in a safe area and we were not worried about leaving our car.
This Premier is in a listed building, a bit quirky , small corridors and no lift.
We asked for a quiet room and were in room 7 at the back. It was quiet and we slept well.
The weather was very hot and humid and the air conditioning was great and very effective. Plenty of hot water , clean room, good connection on the free WiFi.
Very welcoming staff and good Covid-19 practice.
This premier is a little dated and the attention to detail is a bit lacking, a bit of chipped paint here and there, outside windows in our room not cleaned but this wasn’t a problem for us, the price and friendly welcome outweighed this. Location fab. Short walk to town centre and lovely river walks close by.

It was a great price, and the standard Premier inn type of experience fo comfy bed etc was all ok, but the room itself was rather grotty, particularly the bathroom which needed a refurb. We had room 16 at the top, overlooking fans, filter, fire escapes etc..... I wouldnt rush back if I'm honest.....

Stayed here a couple of years ago. Its just the same. Perfect location, its a little dated, but our family room was big & spacious. Needed a bigger TV. A warm welcome from the friendly staff. Downside..... COVID! no towel changes, no room cleaning, no bins emptied.

Obviously we asked for fresh towels, they were left outside & we go extra tea & coffee from the front desk. But, it change would have been nicer to come back to a clean room.

We chose to come to this hotel due to its location in Marlow town centre and also central to the areas we were visiting for our short stay in the area. The hotel as other people have said is quite dated and does need a refurbishment but we did find it clean and all the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in room nine on the front of the building so we had a view over the green however it could be noisy in the summer due to the pub below the window with outdoor seating. If you don’t fancy breakfast in the pub there is a nice CAFE across the road in the park that we used, they did a very good bacon sandwich and coffee.

So you can't get a better location to stay in Marlow, at the end of the High Street, by the Bridge. Knowing the area we got away without parking charges all weekend, but you can easily get free parking overnight and often for an hour or 2 during the day, so don't fret. Plenty of car parks locally that are not overly expensive.
It is an old building, but has been adapted delightfully. It has only 1 downstairs accessible room and and probably less than 20 on the 2 floors above. There is no lift and the stairs are a little steep. We had room 4 on the 1st floor overlooking the park. It had plenty of space and a really large bathroom. This hotel has 24/7 reception and we had no trouble getting extra teas & coffees, extra pillows etc.
We booked well in advance and paid under £200 for 3 nights, excluding breakfast. There is no doubt we will stay there again.

We regularly use Premier Inns throughout the country, and over a long period must have stayed at 30 or 40 different hotels. We use them because they are of a consistent quality and sensibly priced. Additionally you can guarantee they are clean and well looked after.

Marlow is terrible, exactly the opposite of most (if not all) Premier Inns.

Accepting Marlow is an expensive place to stay, but the PI at Marlow is around twice the normal cost of your other hotels (at £226.50 for the 2 nights), and other than its location near the river it has nothing to recommend it.

Our room was odd shaped and well out of date decor wise, especially compared to most PI's. The hotel is on several levels with no lift and difficult narrow staircases. The carpets are not just scruffy, they are filthy. The paintwork isn't slightly chipped, it's appalling, with the paint on most doorways being more chips than original paint. The entrance is unwelcoming, scruffy and dark. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture.

I would also add that other people we spoke to in Marlow are 110% aware of the points I've raised above; with for example the waiter in a High St restaurant we used for breakfast saying "Everyone I speak to says that about the Premier Inn" Not the image they want to give I'm sure.

Many tourists fly into nearby Heathrow, and some will head straight for Marlow – if they stay here they will never stay at another Premier Inn again.

Very tired, dark, stuffy and cramped room at the premier inn. Needs updating. Possibly the worst one I have stayed in. The room had a lot of low points in the ceiling with caution signs to watch your head. Location in Marlow was reasonable. I felt it was expensive for the quality of the room

After I’d booked this hotel I read the reviews and to be honest I did consider changing the booking. However I am so glad I didn’t! Yes this hotel is not your usual Premier Inn, it’s in a grade 2 listed building so there is not much they can do about the outside appearance. But inside is quirky and it’s clean, we had a comfortable stay, breakfast was good on all three mornings and above all the staff were welcoming.
It is a little pricey when compared to other Premier Inn’s but there are only 18 rooms, it is in Marlow where there are several restaurants owned by Michelin starred chefs, it’s an hour on the train to London and the off street car park you have to use is the one of the cheapest we’ve experienced at £6 for 24 hours.
We will definitely stay again.

Hi, I had the same thought too, but when we paid (think it was about £5-6) for a days parking it gave us 24 hours. Very good value and an easy walk to the hotel.
