Good pub with good grub. Food all day but limited menu between 2 and 6 as none of the wider specials available just pub classics. Fish and chips £12 upwards. Big portions. Cosy areas. Child friendly. Dog friendly.

Popped in for a drink and stayed for a snack. A cosy, "proper" pub that is completely unpretentious and a breath of fresh air in this part of the world. You get what you pay for, and the food is basic but good.

Our 3rd stay in this historic coastal pub. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable with a modern shower. Breakfast is plentiful and varied including smoked haddock and kippers. Vegetarian breakfast also very good. Evening meals in the pub are excellent, freshly cooked and enormous portions! Six real ales to choose from which went down well with...

Ambling pub with lots of rooms leading off from each other. We ate in the Garden Room. Three of us had Jacket Potatoes which were nicely cooked and the fillings were fine. Child menu available. Dog friendly.

A very cosy, traditional pub. You get what you pay for. It may be a bit shabby, but at least it doesn't feel like Chelsea-by-the-Sea! Love the sign on the front that says: 'Egon Ronay's Guide 1993!' May be they should aim for something a little more up to date?

Lovely, characterful inn, with 7 ensuite rooms. Great location just near the Quay at Blakeney. We stayed for a week recently and were very well looked after. Cosy rooms, absolutely fantastic showers, and very dog-friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really good menu with ENORMOUS portions; the lasagne was just perfection! Good selection of wines and the newly-discovered-for-us, Wherry...

Came here for a meal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pint of old golden hen. Ordered the steak and ale suet pudding. Couldn't fault the portion size, you get a large meal for your money. All was ok but for the suet pudding itself, not a lot of steak filling and the base of the pudding was rock hard...

I hadn't been here for several years, but it hadn't changed. Very welcoming and friendly bar staff, a good menu and plenty of alternatives on the board. I settled on sausage and mash, three really nice sausages made by a local company called Graves, a good pile of mash, real onion rings and carrots and sugar snap peas, all in...

Stayed here for one night and was highly disappointed. The rooms were dated, overall looked shabby and very tired. The cups in the room reminded me of a cheaper "denby pottery" version, this was the same at breakfast, all the breakfast tableware was like this. There were dirty baskets of salt & pepper pots with vinegar, the tables were sticky....

We recently visited this pub at lunchtime. It was a sunny day and was very busy both inside and in the gardens. We sat outside which was very pleasant with views over the estuary. We had a long wait for sandwiches and drinks which were OK. But my daughter who had white bread said it was dry and hard and...
