The Ffolkes has been lovingly refitted and refurbished with a £2m investment. Think Poldark, think pewter, copper, Hessian, leather, soft velvet, and rustic wood. We have taken down barriers and let in the light to create a comfortable open space with nooks and crannies to suit even the most discerning of travellers. We currently have 6 double bedrooms available to book, with a further 18 bedrooms due late July 2017.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing two night stay here, in room six (the postal room), with sublime food from Guac and Mole on Thursday evening and Oishii kitchen on the Friday night. Our room was outstanding and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, the shower equally amazing and the homemade shortbread in the minifridge was the icing on the cake. TV had all we needed, the collection of nik-naks in the room were a delight. The staff were so good from start to finish, offering the warmest of welcomes and the most sincere of goodbyes. Breakfast was incredible, with amazing produce and excellent choice. You just can't fault this place!

We stayed in Coaching room 1 which was beautiful, comfy and spotlessly clean for two nights. We throughly enjoy our plentiful breakfasts and dinners and all the staff were lovely polite and helpful. We really loved our visit and look forward to coming back in the future! Thank you all at the Ffolkes for a wonderful trip.

A very well-run pub, hotel, and venue with excellent staff. Great for all ages but especially kids!! I don't think I have ever been to a place that had such attentive and well-trained staff. I know of quite a few establishments in our county (Sussex) that could learn a thing or two from The Ffolkes!!!

We went Saturday night when the Oshii menu was a libel. We both had tacos one pork, one beef, one sweet potatoes. The flavours were good but the portion size was small for the price (£14 for x3 taco smaller than a women fist) and the ‘taco’ was a soft wrap style bread, not the hard shell you might expect. We also had Madeline fries which had a little too much black bean mayo but was still nice. All desserts were ice cream except for an apple pie option which was a bit limiting for someone who can’t eat ice cream so we skipped dessert. Service was poor overall, We arrived at 17:50 for a table booked for 17:45 and weren’t seated until 18:15. We ended up eating over an hour after our reservation! The waitress was friendly enough but noone came to check on the table after the food was served. We struggled to order more drinks and when we did we asked for no ice (due to sensitive teeth) and both times drinks came with ice. Asked for a menu for dessert which never came & again struggled to flag someone down for the bill. Overall the restaurant does offer something different than you might otherwise find in the local area but the value for money is poor and the service needs a little work. Also to note is the light pollution is the car park isn’t great and detracts from the rural location.

We are just home from an overnight birthday stay in a spa cabin. Wow is all I can say. Everything from start to finish was amazing. Unfortunately our sauna didn't work and we were given a £50 credit which paid for our evening meal which was delicious. The room was clean and amazing, little touches like fresh milk, marshmallows and shortbread along with happy birthday banner and card were wonderful. Very sadly I lost someone very close to me the morning before arriving but being so close we couldn't cancel so I'm hoping to come back when feeling more celebratory and happy.

Wow what a new year treat! When they say these are the moments we live for, the spa rooms at the ffolkes are exactly that. The room comes with own hot tub, sauna, open fire and the most comfortable bed you will ever find. The food from the restaurant is special, different cuisine every night. Special on cocktails between 3-5 and they offer room service. Would we come back? Absolutely!

I cannot recommend the Ffolkes enough! Booked a spa cabin for my boyfriend’s birthday and we loved it! The cabins are gorgeous and include a hot tub, sauna, fireplace and dartboard. They even give you marshmallows to toast! Really clean and lovely decor. Loved the robes and slippers too. Oh and they put a little Christmas tree in our room too, such a lovely touch! We paid for the container golf which was really good fun. I highly recommend the food too. We tried Reesey’s for lunch and Ooishi for dinner. Great select and speedy service. We thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next day too. Every single staff member we spoke to were super helpful and more than friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

My second time in a Standard Room at FFolkes. Room is quite small but is very well presented with a comfy bed and modern interior. Recessed TV linked to wall mounted speakers. Modern tech titbits with powered USB/HDMI inputs on the wall. Don't turn this on though as it switches on a small LED light which shines the power of a Lightsabre into your room. Couldn't find a way to turn this off. Has very effective Air Conditioning which I struggled to find anywhere else in and around Kings Lynn. The bathroom, although appearing well presented at a first glance suffers from cheap materials using cheap looking wall panels instead of tile and the shower tray is plastic, weird and bouncy. Shower was pretty powerful though which pleased me greatly. When visiting in the summer, the sun rises at some ungodly hour and gives you an unwelcome blast of rays direct to the chops though the less than adequate blinds. This irritated me massively which I brought up with the staff. They said they'd come up with a solution by the end of the day. Was expecting a room upgrade. They gave me an eyemask. Fair play. Breakfast was better than you'd find in most 3 star hotels with decent quality fried breakfast and a good overall selection of fruits/pastries etc. It's a kooky place with loud and bright colour schemes, crazy golf and all kinds of kids based activities. If you don't like kids and vibrant atmospheres, this isn't the place for you. Overall I liked it. I'm a late nighter so the noise, which wasn't that wild at all doesn't really bother me. The blind/sun issue is a fairly big problem for me which I'd like to see fixed, eye masks aren't really a long term solution.

We stayed in the Spa Cabin 2, it was a great experience. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, we had an issue with the heating but a member of the team came straight out to help us. The room was clean, the hot tub was hot and clean, the sauna was clean, everything was perfectly laid out. Definitely going back ASAP!
