Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely, well set up campsite, with very welcoming staff, and facilities. Just outside the town , and within walking distance to shops and pubs. No hesitation in recommending them them to cyclist walkers, and campers in general Thank you.

This is a wonderful campsite on the outskirts of Wells. It was our second visit and we stayed 4 nights. It’s a quiet and sheltered site with clean facilities and a small shop. No electric hookup, but for a small fee you can charge your phone in the shop. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Chris and Pat give a warm and friendly welcome and are happy to share their knowledge of the area. Great location for exploring this part of north Norfolk.

We had a lovely 4 night stay with our large tent (we are a couple with our dog). Friendly welcome from the owner and we were given a spacious pitch away from play area (on Bunny Hill), which was exactly what we'd asked for; whilst we could hear a little road noise, this didn't bother us at all. It was so quiet during the week and we loved watching the bats and owl in the evening, and enjoyed the short, easy walk in to Wells. Great, clean washroom and shower facilities and a handy little shop on site. It's a brilliant location for exploring this beautiful part of the Norfolk coast.

Hard to fault this lovely site! We had two nights here and loved every second. Really quiet when we there, it was idyllic. It's about 15 minutes' walk from Wells but the site itself is grand; really peaceful and very well kept with spacious plots. The showers and facilities are lovely and we spent a wonderful time watching a barn owl flitting about one evening. I left a pair of shoes behind but the owner-Chris-has put them in the post to me and won't even let me pay him the postage. Like I said-hard to fault! Thanks.

This campsite we choose because it was so close to Wells and the railway. We didn't realise it was so close to a noisy road. The pitches are okay, we were near the middle where the play area was so quite slopey. I wouldn't call it much of a play area, it had one small wooden frame that was nice the rest were just broken plastic toys lying on the floor and creaky swings. It is a very dog friendly site, there's a few occasions where an owner 'forgot' to look back to pick up dog mess right in the middle of it all so my kids needed to watch out. There is a quiet rule after 10, but this wasn't adhered to, there was loud vibrating music and people being loud as they got drunker really late into the night. Lesson learnt not to choose a place so popular. It's a shame, the facilities seemed good for a campsite.

Gave this site a visit due to great review's. I think five star's is a bit much. For no lighting on field where there is rope in the middle which is a hazard in the dark. Also motor-home's parked on a slope at the back of tent's.Where people are sleeping( thinking about brake's failing).

Right from the start with the gate that locks to the little shop that sells everything, the showers and toilets are really clean and always hot water for washing up, we had "bunny hill " to set up our tent and it was good ground. Easy to walk into wells or we got a bus , right outside camp to cromer. Loved it, owners there all day to assist. WOULD RECOMMEND IN A HEARTBEAT...
