Detailed Reviews
We stayed for 2 nights on the opening weekend after being closed due to the covid lockdown. We received information prior to arrival on what they were doing to aid social distancing and ensure cleanliness of facility, which was great. The lovely gent that runs the campsite checked us in and was really helpful and offered info on local area if you’d not visited before, and even went to the effort to move our pitch so we were next door to our family. He also came round later on to check we were happy. We also saw him regularly doing rounds of the toilet and shower facilities to clean them and sanitise touchpoints - really reassuring at a time like this. Thanks so much for a great stay, we’ll be back!

Just outside wells next the sea, beside the walshigham wells train stn. 10 walk into wells. Bus stop just outside to go towards cromer. Change in wells to go west. Easy access to costal path.
Loo block. Individual showers with enougj space and hot water. Couple of sinks for washing up. Larger field with play equipment, swings/climbing frame etc in centre so could supervise form pitches around the side. Another area away from this. Sold drinks in reception and charged phones/ipads at £1 a go donated to local charity but no wifi and limited stuff to buy so not a comercial feel. Pay for site and thats that. Need to get shopping elsewhere.
Coop in village. Chip shops in village (with long queues due to covid rules)

Blue Skies is easily one of the best campsites we have ever stayed in.
We are a family of five and Pat and Chris made us welcome at their campsite last summer and again this August!
The pitches are all spacious, big enough for our 5 meter bell tent plus 3 meter gazebo and a cooking area with extra parking space near the site office/shop.
There is a play area in the middle of the site, close enough to all pitches that if you can’t see directly, you can hear your kids!
There are easily enough showers and toilets that you won’t have to wait, with plenty of hot water, hanging pegs and space for family showers. They are all clean and maintained all day.
There are enough sinks for washing up as well!
The site it’s self is sheltered, nearly completely flat (shocker that for Norfolk!!) and is a ten minute walk from the coop supermarket and a further five minuets to the sea front in wells town centre. It is also right next door to the miniature steam railway to walsingham, where you get a discount if you camp at blue skies.
This is the most wonderful place, friendly, calm and restful and safe with a real mixture of people, all welcoming and chatty.
Pat and Chris are so helpful and kind, and would do anything to help a camper out! Last year our car battery was flat and Chris got his van and jump leads out to sort us, and this year Pat gave our son (who is six and builder-mad!) a hard hat on the last day of our stay.
Top tip, the ground is HARD!!…our first year we had to go and get extra pegs from the camping shop in Wells!…but don’t let that put you off, Bur Skies is a gem of a spot.

We spent four nights here as a family of four, the site itself is fine with average toilet and showering facilities. There is no electric hook up which we were told about upon booking, no problem for us, I was just glad that the weather was nice as I would’ve missed plugging in a hairdryer having longer, thicker hair. Ice packs are available from reception at 20p rental each. Only a 15 min walk into the town where there are some nice restaurants and pubs. We especially liked the glob and the crown by the green. The beach is easy accessible but another 15/20 min walk or you can opt to take the miniature train ride which cuts a big chunk of it out & only £1.50 each way. The co-op is only a 10 min walk but I wouldn’t leave it until last minute to get supplies as they soon ran out of popular ‘camping choices’ ie sausage, burgers, buns etc.
We had a couple of bad nights sleep due to other noisy, selfish, foul mouthed campers, this needs to be addressed and maybe have some site signs highlighting the ‘quiet times’ as this appears to be a family site with plenty of young children. Would I return....no, but we didn’t regret our stay.

We have been coming to Blueskies for about 4 years now. Chris and Pat have perfect hosts and are always very polite and helpful. The pitches are well spaced out and are a good size The campsite is in a location, not far from Wells-Next-The-Sea town and the lovely harbour. The new and improved showers are powerful and hot. Everything is well maintained and very clean Great campsite, we will definitely be back.

Stayed two nights here from 11th-13th June in a camper van. Wells is one of my favourite places and we’ve been lots of times but this was our first stay at Blue Skies campsite and it was amazing. The campsite is in a great location just ten minute walk to Wells town, very spacious pitch sizes and the staff were extremely welcoming and super friendly. There are three showers which are clean and from my experience some of the best campsite showers I have used. Toilets were also very clean. Would 100% recommend, will definitely be going back when visiting wells or holkham again. For anyone who hasn’t visited wells it’s absolutely beautiful and lots to do/see!

We passed this site on the way to Hunstanton , and turned round in Wells, we drove in without booking and was met by Chris and Pat who are very friendly , I acquired a pitch for the night which has now turned 5 nights .
The site is 20 min walk to Wells , toilets and showers awesome, very clean and showers are nice and hot , they have a shop which has milk, eggs, fire wood , bbqs and various other camp site bits and pieces.
The Co-oP is 10 min walk and a bus stop is just outside the site if you wish to use it .
I would definitely recommend this site and I will be back very soon .
Thank you Chris and Pat ....awesome site see you soon Dave n Fiona . And Tilly the T4.

Brilliant location, really friendly, helpful owners who came to our rescue when we ran out of gas for cooking and couldnt source a replacement locally...they let us use theirs and wouldnt accept any extra money for it. Clean, quiet after 10, safe for kids, and an all round lovely atmosphere, plus amazing pizzas made on site Thursdays and some other days. Plus there is a path through the fields opposite the site which is great for walking or cycling into Wells avoiding roads. Thoroughly recommend this site. And showers great too....dont have to keep pressing it every 15 seconds....unlimited hot water.

Right from the start with the gate that locks to the little shop that sells everything, the showers and toilets are really clean and always hot water for washing up, we had "bunny hill " to set up our tent and it was good ground. Easy to walk into wells or we got a bus , right outside camp to cromer. Loved it, owners there all day to assist. WOULD RECOMMEND IN A HEARTBEAT...

Not sure, but it was reasonable enough in a tent and within walking distance of Wells (Nowhere Near The Sea)
