Had a five night stay at Boxwood last week which we really thoroughly enjoyed , Tim and Caroline being lovely hosts. We stayed in the annexe which we found clean and comfortable and perfect for the two of us . We particularly liked having our own independent access to our accomodation which meant we could come and go as we liked . Very well located for Wells being a 2 minute walk to the centre and 5 minutes to the harbour . Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and Caroline happy to cook whatever we fancied . Can happily recommend and will visit again .

Current owners have been here 4 years so older negative reviews need ignoring! Stayed in the annexe,very clean and comfortable,current covid requirements met diligently.A great base as very close to the quay,easy parking,friendly welcoming owners,wonderful breakfast,very good selection.

A big 'Thank you' to Caroline and Tim for a relaxing 4 night stay at Boxwood. Other reviews have said it all: very clean, good food and a comfy room serviced every day with fresh milk in the fridge and two slices of cake to fight over. A house key lets you come and go pretty much as you please and if you're lucky you may get to tickle a dogs belly too. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Boxwood and hope that Tim and Caroline are still at the helm as they are easy to be around and run a great B&B in the heart of Wells-Next-The-Sea.

This is our second visit to Boxwood, this is now our first choice when we come home to visit the family. This is a lovely, comfortable, friendly B&B. Beautiful clean rooms, breakfasts are excellent and set you up for the day.

Last minute decision to spend New Years Eve in Wells. So pleased we found Boxwood Guesthouse, central location, clean, comfortable with all the extras previously mentioned including Prosecco to toast in the New Year, we'll done. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the choice of fruit, cereals etc was first class. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
