Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There is only one problem with staying at Seaholm and that is that it will spoil you for everything else as Lorena puts her heart and soul into running Seaholm. You will not find a kinder more generous host. The breakfasts, home-made cake in the afternoon and all of the little touches made it very special and the homemade bread is really delicious. Lorena very kindly made a special meal for our friends on the last evening and we all said "what more could you ask for". We hope that everything you do for others comes back a hundred fold to you Lorena. Lyn & Geoff from Malvern

We recently stayed here in the Bass Rock view room with the beautiful sea view out of the big bay window. The super king bed was sumptuously comfortable. The homecooked breakfasts were excellent with loads of healthier alternatives of fresh fruit, dried fruits, yoghurt, porridge etc. The private bathroom was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with top quality toiletries. The delightful lady owner Lorena runs it all herself and is a wonderful hostess. Nothing was too much trouble, she could not be more accommodating and even gave us free cake and delicious biscuits made by herself fresh that day. We can't thank her enough. We will definitely be making a return visit and would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone visiting North Berwick.

Woohoo what an Amazing treat to stay with The Fantastic Lorena in her super stylish house. We stayed in the best room I have ever stayed in in my life The Bass Rock Room, stunning views, the bed was incredibly comfortable and we loved Lorena 's interior design skills as it was stylish and welcoming the sofa looking out onto the beach and the Bass Rock has the most amazing views. Our breakfasts were excellent! Delicious green juice,Yogurt granola and berries fruit and the most amazing protein balls made of dates and seeds!! Super healthy and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, the quality and the presentation is Top Dollar , Your homemade Cakes were magnificent!! Forget staying anywhere else Seaholm is The Ultimate Destination. Lorena has a gift and is The World's Finest House, the breakfast table was laid out impeccably. Everything was Bellissimo and Lorena you have made our holiday magical. Multi Grazie Ciao Ciao Bella see you next time !

The perfect place for a visit to the beautiful North Berwick. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a shame we could only stay for one night. A lovely room, beautiful view, amazing breakfast and I would highly recommend. Thank you 😊

We came to North Berwick for a wedding in the area and stayed at Seaholm for the bank holiday weekend. Lorena was very warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived until we left. She went out of her way to help us book taxis and even offered to pick us up from the station upon our arrival. Once checked into her lovely B&B, she welcomed us with a cup of tea and cake. We were staying in the Bass Rock room with its breathtaking view of the sea. The large room and adjacent bathroom were spotless and bright. The super king-size bed was very comfortable. Her breakfast was abundant, and she brought us freshly made bread each AM and all the small touches made for an excellent stay. We would love to come again!

My wife and I spent three nights at this wonderful b&b. We have travelled quite a bit, but NEVER have we experienced such a ‘vacation package’: everything was beyond expectations. The room was impeccable, the food was second to none, and the hostess, Lorena, is one of the most lovable persons you can ever meet. She really makes you feel at home, and never stops to amaze you with her ingenuity in her kitchen. Every meal is a special treat. We cannot recommend this place too highly.

We have just returned from a long weekend at Seaholm B&B where we stayed in the Bass Rock Room with excellent views which I highly recommend! We had a fantastic time and Lorena really pushed the boat out and spoilt us in every respect. This is the BEST B&B we have ever been to where nothing is a problem and Lorena tends to your every need. The rooms are spacious and spotless with beds that are so comfortable it is a thought to get up! The aroma of the fresh baking of specialty rolls are a delight in the morning, and Lorena greets you with a big beaming smile every morning without fail! Even the jam is all home made and delicious! The products too in the bathroom are luxurious, and are locally sourced. When we returned to our room there was always some home baking awaiting us to have with a wee cup of tea. For me this was exceptional ❤️ We also met some wonderful people whilst there, everyone was so friendly which made our holiday complete. Thank you Lorena for an amazing time and looking after our every need! We will definitely be back! Gillian and Jim x

This is the 3rd time I have stayed in this Guest House and it won't be my last. Lorena is the hostess and she makes you feel like family with a set of keys in which you can come and go at your leisure. The rooms are spotless and the view at the front of the Guest House is magnificent with a panoramic 180 degrees view of the Firth of Forth with The Bass Rock and Craigleith islands prominent. Her breakfasts have to be seen and tasted to be believed !! Lorena always offers to pick me up from the Railway Station which is a huge help since the pavements in North Berwick are quite narrow in places. In summary, nothing is too much trouble for Lorena !!
