We stayed as a six golfer group at the Golf Lodge. Emma and Tom are the best hosts you can imagine and they own a wonderful house. Perfect scottish breakfast and any support you need for a good time in North Berwick and its marvellous West Links.

Fantastic B&B in the middle of Scotland‘s golf coast. The hosts Emma and Tom took perfect care of us, a group of six golfers from Berlin. Rooms were big enough to host a whole family with a delicious Scottish breakfast served in the morning. And North Berwick is home to some of the best golf courses in the world. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Had stayed here several yrs ago and quite happy to return. Spent a week playing golf with wife at end of July, 2023. Stayed in the large room, No. 3. Quite roomy, clean and extraordinarily maintained. Emma and Tom Hill are great hosts, willing to go out of their way to help their guests. Breakfasts were excellent, of very high quality. Location is great--short walk to West Links and to all local restaurants. Emma and Tom made our stay wonderful.

We have been travelling to Scotland´s East Lothian region for golf for more than 25 years. The best place to stay for a group of 8-10 is North Berwick Golf Lodge. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxed and private provided by Emma and Tom Hill. Breakfast is made to order and you have the house to yourself if the group reserves the whole property. Emma arranges all the golf and makes dinner reservations at local restaurants. In all highly recommended.

Just spent 3 nights at the Golf Lodge on a golf vacation. The accommodations were outstanding, breakfasts were wonderful, and location was perfect. Walking distance to town. Tom and Emma arranged golf at North Berwick West Links. One of the most difficult courses to get on next to The Old Course. Not sure if a return trip to Scotland is in the cards. But there is no doubt where we will be staying if we return North Berwick!

What an easy review to write! Our stay couldn't have been better. Gracious hosts, sparklingly clean, excellent breakfast, a short walk to local businesses, great recommendations on golf and food. North Berwick is a wonderful town, friendly people, great golf and natural beauty. In a word... Superb!

Emma and Tom are the most gracious hosts. My golf colleague and our wives stayed in the Cottage which is private and well appointed. Tom’s breakfasts were delicious and filling every morning. We played 3 local courses and spent the other day’s sightseeing with our wives. The train is a short walk from the Lodge and only a 30 minute train ride into the heart of Edinburgh where we explored Edinburgh Castle, took an open top bus tour of the city, had a few pints and enjoyed lunch. Emma was most helpful with making dinner reservations and tee times in advance for us. She also provided us ideas for what to do on the days we were not playing golf. On the day of our arrival, we were very close to our allotted tee time, Tom was nice enough to load our clubs into his vehicle and give us a quick ride to the course. Thanks Tom! Make sure you say hello to Frankie! He likes to carry his bowl around :-). We would highly recommend The Golf Lodge to anyone (not only golfers) that is planning a stay in the East Lothian region.…

What a lovely stay! Since our flight arrived early we got an uncomplicated early check in. Emma prebooked all Golf T-Times for us. We enjoyed a wonderful Scotish breakfast every morning . When we found our rental car with a flat tire and the car rental company wouldn't help us within reasonable time, Tom helped us out with a pump so we could help ourselves and finally get back to the airport on time without any additional help. Thanks for everything, Emma and Tom, we will be happy to come back.
