Edinburgh is half an hour away by car, or there is a regular train service from the nearby railway station. There are 21 golf courses within 20 minutes drive including both Muirfield and Gullane. The Glengair House is always been great. The breakfast they provide is wonderful. Easy walking distance to the pubs. I would highly recommend using the Glengair House to anyone visiting North Berwick.

We did get a very warm welcome by the hosts and found a noce and cosy room with alle the amenities and a very comfortable bed. We liked the warm atmosphere and the kindness of the whole house. The garden is amazing as well as the short walking distance to town. A great start into our twoo week trip around northern Scotland. Thank you!

Stayed here twice and recommend strongly. Val and Charles are wonderful hosts, their house is beautiful (and the garden) and our room was very comfortable with a view of the sea between the houses below. breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, home made bread and yoghurt and a good cooked "full Scottish".

Glengair is a great example of what an outstanding B and B should be - great hosts, comfortable rooms, beautiful setting and the feeling of being in a home not a lodging. It has a great location just a short walk from restaurants, shops, train station and the West Links yet is in a very quiet neighborhood. The peacefulness of the setting is enhanced by the lovely garden. Val and Charles are very knowledgeable about the area and one of them is always on hand to answer questions. They also produce a large and delicious breakfast that sets you up for the day! This was our second stay at Glengair and we hope to return soon.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Glengair and couldn’t fault it in any way. The house is stylish and interesting with a beautiful garden set in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail and a homely feel. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast which was served in the elegant dining room overlooking the garden offered a wide choice to suit all our requirements - perfect poached eggs Val! Would highly recommend.
