My partner and I stayed at Honeysuckle (1-bed) cottage for a week in August. We had horrible weather, but it didn't matter because the cottage was delightful to spend time in. The dining table was just right for playing board & card games, the TV was all set up with the BBC iPlayer app, etc, the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook and eat in several nights... We even managed to take advantage of what little sun was available with a private garden. Rob and his wife were incredibly helpful, providing great advice about when to get to Padstow to have half a hope of parking. Highly recommend!

My auntie and Uncle booked this cottage, we had an amazing week, cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you could want, our children had lots of fun in the garden and on the play area, they loved watching the lambs aswell, the children even made friends with another family who was there. If you don’t mind walking the area surrounding rooke cottages is lovely to explore and the local pub Maltsters Arms is lovely aswell, Would definitely love to visit again soon.

Such a lovely week in the courtyard with our two children and their partners. Where else can you get 5 star accommodation that allows a couple of dogs.?The owners were so helpful and Rob gave us lots of advice about taking our boat out in the local area. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you needed. We all had our own en-suite and the super king beds were so comfy. First time I’ve never said I’m looking forward to getting back in my own bed ! We would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

4 generations of our family have come here. Rob and Gill don’t just run a superb farm and are good friends. Cottages are spotless, sensible COVID precautions in place, loads of kids for our son to play with. Loads of good places to visit and also restaurants and pubs Very good Wi-fi connection so watching Netflix etc on bad weather days is possible. Have already booked next year. Support our local tourism!!!

We had our second stay in 6 years at Rooke Cottages this week. The standard is still very high and honestly the best holiday cottages we've stayed in. So comfortable and Rob continues to invest in them, the carpets had just been replaced. Some of the cottages allow dogs and ours had a walled garden, which our dog, Coco, enjoyed. The farm is off the beaten track but still close to many lovely places, you feel like you can switch off and completely relax. Thank you for another memorable holiday!!

Best holiday accommodation you could wish for. This is 5 star quality, with everything you need catered for. Located in a great place just outside Wadebridge and in striking distance of Rock and Padstow. If you have a dog, there is plenty of room and it's very safe. We were sad to be leaving and wished we had booked for two weeks. The local pub (The Malsters Arms) is in walking distance and offers good food and a good choice of drinks. Best to book on Sundays. We will most definitely be returning.

Well, weather has been kind to us for the last three annual visits. The cottage (Honeysuckle) is not luck, its comfort and cleanliness is due to the hard work and attention to details of Rob & Gill and their team. We like the fact that it has a very homely feel, not at all precious, but everything you could ask for. We found the WiFi perfectly adequate for our holiday needs, we don't go away to stream videos! We enjoyed sitting out in the sheltered garden, bit of a sun-trap which lasts until about 8 pm. if you're lucky- we were. In spite of feeling-'in the middle of nowhere', you are only, by car, two minutes from a pub and small shop (for the daily paper), and 10 minutes form and M & S Simply Food or a big Tesco supermarket. 25 minutes to Padstow and 30 to several beaches to the south. Amazing! (Port Isaac is 11min- a very pretty drive down the lanes- and before you get there, at St Endellion, an excellent Farm Shop with a super restaurant and many attractions for kids- from wallabies to go-karts) I'm sure we'll be back.…

Thank you for review, we love welcoming our returning guests especially families of multi generations that have supported us over the years. Great to see them making friends with our families and enjoying the freedom of the cottages and grounds. We are lucky to be in an area of Cornwall that has such a great selection of places to eat for all budgets with loads to do for families and couples. We look forward to seeing you all another time in the future.

Stayed for a week the last week of August...really loved this cottage..wish we could have stayed longer ...the only down side was the poor WiFi....but apart from that we would stay there again in a blink of an eye.

I love Rooke Cottages, it is a real gem in a great location. I have just returned from my second visit this year and will be returning again in January for my winter fix. Gill and Rob have created a little haven in North Cornwall and you always know what to expect. It’s a home form home, well maintained and very clean. I introduced my family to Rooke Cottages this trip and they loved it, the garden space is perfect for chilling out and playing cricket! Teddi, my labradoodle loves it too and enjoys playing with Darcy, who is so cute! The location is great, beaches not far away and you can walk to the local pub the Malsters Arms, which serves great food and is dog friendly. Can’t wait until January, when I’ll be back!!! Thanks Gill and Rob for a helping make our family holiday so special.❤️…
