Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another wonderful stay. The family and staff who run the Farm are always so obliging and the facilities are A1. They put on special events at certain times such as BBQs. Raining outside? No problem - use the pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam/games room (the pool is honestly one of the finest I've come across). Like animals? Help feed them twice a day. The farm trail and bird hide are nice touches and the location is great. The cottages are comfy, there's a PenPont store to borrow things like nets for rockpooling, a farm shop on site and more. We've been three times now and will come back again. Thanks again for a lovely holiday!

We have just returned home from our first half-term visit to The Olde House. We had an amazing time! There was so much put on for the kids and the pool was great! It was also a great central location for us to go out and explore.

Another amazing stay at the olde house. Wonderful location, amazing swimming pool and welcoming staff (nothing is too much trouble here). We loved our stay in Honeysuckle cottage but they all look fab to us. Thanks for a brilliant half term week.

Bluebell cottage is a very well equipped cottage, perfect for our family. The facilities around the farm were also perfect for our family, which includes a toddler. A farm visit to see lambs, goats and cows before breakfast is highly recommended. The swimming pool is absolutely fantastic! Also a toddler pool! The soft play barn and the more adult play room with air hockey, pool and table football. Brilliant place to stay!

We visited The Olde Farm for the first time in August 2023. Within 24 hours we had established that nearly everyone else was a return visitor, within 48 hours we’d worked out why and within 72 hours we’d decided we were coming back next year and for every year we can do so. We stayed in the Primrose cottage which is a bungalow with a double and a twin with our 5 year old and nearly 2 year old. The cottage was great, clean and had everything needed. What makes the Olde House special though is everything that comes with it, the amazing pool, feeding the animals every morning with Farmer Kevin, the tractor rides, the pond dipping, the games room, the soft play, the woodland crafts, the family bbq and lots more. The store to borrow wet suits, body boards and anything else you might want for the beach is a great touch as well. The staff, Kevin, Jamie, Shaun and the rest are all helpful, amazing with the kids and always have a smile on their face. It’s just that type of place. That’s before you even consider it’s on the doorstep of some amazing beaches (we only did 3 but there’s so many more!) and places like rock and padstow and with all they have to offer. A very special week which we won’t forget and we’re already planning out what we’re going to do next year on our return visit.

Myself, husband and three children have just got home from our second stay at The Olde House. We absolutely love it there! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. We have stayed in two different cottages now and both have been very clean and well presented. The facilities are fabulous! The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are the cleanest I’ve seen. The farm animals are well looked after, the soft play is always well maintained and cleaned. It seems as if everything has been thought about and well planned. There’s a boot cleaning station, a 24 hour honesty farm shop, a store where you can borrow everything from crabbing nets to baby spoons. The beaches are all local and not too far to travel. The pub less than five minutes from the cottages is beautiful too. There’s also lots on for the children. There’s free daily activities and a variety of things to do. We have just booked to go back for the third year running and we cannot wait!

We have stayed in the Manor House, at the Olde House farm complex, for several summers with our daughter's family and three grandchildren, we have seen the farm evolve and improve. This year we have returned with our son's family, a toddler and a 6 years old, who really enjoyed what was on offer! As well as quality accommodation, there is an indoor swimming pool, a soft play area, a barn where baby animals are fed, an outdoor playground and tennis courts. This year there is a mini market selling farm's own meats and other produce, and every week there is a family BBQ. Several activities are organised for little children such as pond dipping, forrest skills and tractor rides. The farm is close to Polzeath beach as well as Padstow, and there are several interesting places to visit if the weather is poor. Our grandchildren really enjoyed themselves, and we shall return!

Wow! What an amazing place, so many lovely things about it. The cottage itself was so lovely, very roomy, comfy beds and such a well equipped kitchen. Really loved the swimming pool, so clean, great size for playing and swimming. Love the little area where you can borrow things like surf board, games, even a potty! And the honesty shop…such a great idea. Our Grandsons loved the sit and ride tractors, the soft play and the animals, and also the tractor ride, which as adults was very interesting. All in all, a very relaxing, lovely place to stay. We never usually go back to a place a second time as there are so many places to visit, but we will go back here I’m sure.

A fabulous place to stay with young children. We went as two families and grandparents, and even the grandparents loved it. The facilities are great, beautiful indoor pool area, great indoor {younger children} and outdoor play/sport areas, countryside activities. All in a beautiful setting in clean, modern well serviced cottages. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We stayed in the Manor House which was very private and spacious, even for 10 people{9 of us} There is a pub that serves good food about a 5 minute walk away. Wadebridge which is a 5/10 minute drive is a very pleasant little town with 4 supermarkets, although there is a little honesty shop on site for essentials you may have forgotten. Would we go again, we certainly would.
