Situated in the centre of Padstow it's a great venue for a long weekend. The class of room you choose is important if you want to park nearby so please check before you book. The room we were in was excellent - St Pirian - except for the absence of a shower cubicle. May not matter to some but it...

Always been curious to visit one of Rick Steins establishments and whilst on vacation in Cornwall we decided to take a trip to one of rick stein's restaurants. As we have a small dog we were only able to book the bar area in Saint Petroc's hotel and bistro. On arrival we were put in the what appeared to be...

The bistro is housed a beautiful old building in a back street of Padstow. The decor is modern and functional with wipe down table tops. The menu is interesting and reasonably priced, mainly fish but also with a range of steaks. The wine list is good. The staff are efficient and friendly although there seemed to be a bit of...

The food was absolutely amazing and I've never tasted bread so good. Lovely staff who looked after us so well. Wine was beautiful. Will definitely make the 8 hour journey again to Padstow to have another experience at this beautiful restaurant. So recommend.

Fine food, wonderful wine, speedy service. Rather noisy, sadly, which spoilt it for my father - we resorted to writing notes to each other!! Looking forward to returning during the Christmas period (without father)

We booked a two night stay here on one of their winter breaks to celebrate my 65th Birthday. Padstow, especially Rick Stein, has been on my bucket list or a long time. We were not disappointed. The winter break was two nights bed and breakfast and two dinner engagements, one at the Bistro in the hotel and one in the...

This is our third visit, and it's always excellent. Good, personal, attentive service. Agreeable decor, high quality fittings. The breakfasts have been v good selection and quality. Fresh raspberrys, house made granola, and fish option which changes daily. Only small gripes ... bacon choice was only streaky, which I hate. I was told 'Rick prefers streaky'. Something wrong here! Who's...

Stayed here for 2 nights. We booked late so had a different room each night. The hotel moved everything for us so it was no problem. Both rooms were very well equipped and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

We visited the Bistro for a meal from a special menu to raise funds for Water Aid. The dining doom is nice and cosy. We waited in the lounge with menus and a bottle of wine while our table was prepared, it is very comfortable in there the sort of place you could sit and relax in with a good...
