Padstow never fails to delight and we chose to celebrate a special birthday here for 2 nights with our 2 dogs staying at St Petroc's Hotel. We were on the winter warmer break so ate at the cafe on the first night (very good food, busy with friendly, knowledgeable staff and within a very easy walk of the hotel) and...

Our two night winter break at St Petroc's was a lovely start to the New Year. The package included dinner at the Cafe and the Bistro, which I have reviewed separately. The Seafood Restaurant was closed for refurbishment during our stay. We were pleased to be back in St Merryn, one of the "generous" rooms. Smaller sized Molton Brown toiletries...

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of November. I had previously booked accommodation in one of the other hotels, but received a call to say that it would be closed for refurbishment and that we had now been booked into this hotel. I assumed that we would be staying in one of the more basic rooms, but...

My Husband & I stayed here for two nights in December. The room (yellow room) was beautifully decorated as was the bathroom (including complimentary Molton Brown items). The staff were extremely helpful and took our luggage up to our room. Great communal area for relaxing and Bistro equally nice.

Busy exciting food from one of Rick Steins establishments in Padstow. We stayed in a room with views over the Camel Estuary. Very helpful friendly staff, it now has a cocktail bar called Ruby's joined to the bistro so a drink before dining or after is easy reached with out leaving the premises.

Situated in the centre of Padstow it's a great venue for a long weekend. The class of room you choose is important if you want to park nearby so please check before you book. The room we were in was excellent - St Pirian - except for the absence of a shower cubicle. May not matter to some but it...

Always been curious to visit one of Rick Steins establishments and whilst on vacation in Cornwall we decided to take a trip to one of rick stein's restaurants. As we have a small dog we were only able to book the bar area in Saint Petroc's hotel and bistro. On arrival we were put in the what appeared to be...

The bistro is housed a beautiful old building in a back street of Padstow. The decor is modern and functional with wipe down table tops. The menu is interesting and reasonably priced, mainly fish but also with a range of steaks. The wine list is good. The staff are efficient and friendly although there seemed to be a bit of...
