It is actually our fifth time here in six years and for a high quality, private and understated hotel - its hard to beat. The setting is lovely, the rooms tastefully furnished and small touches such as still and sparkling water and fruit etc in the...

Apart from the very tasteful accommodation. this small hotel really sells itself with its imaginative, beautifully cooked and well presented food. we never saw more than two staff but they provided a first class unobtrusive service throughout the stay. Just the place for a special overnight stay.

Had the master suite which was nicely decorated with a great bathroom, comfortable bed, and great views from the sitting area. Breakfast menu a little limited, but good quality food. Ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening. Felt it was all a bit rushed simply because there were only 5 tables dining. Food was excellent. Highlight was the in...

The venue is fantastic, the staff are attentive and the food was cooked very well. I was lucky enough to be taken to the Plantation House Hotel for a meal as a surprise- from the beginning of the visit to our leaving it was so special. An amazing experience and many thanks to the chef (who makes a mean non-...

Extremely happy to find such a well run hotel with attentive staff. Room standard was very high, and the meals and service were of equal quality. A hard working owner did everything to make everyone welcome. Perhaps an offer of water and more bread would have been nice at dinner, but hardly a concern when so much else was of...

Firstly I would start by saying the hotel is lovely, it's beautiful and the surrounding countryside is amazing. My room was spacious and the bathroom was luxurious with a huge bath and separate shower. The view from my room was stunning - rolling green hills, plus a fruit bowl and water was provided for me. Richard the host was helpful...
