Beautiful hotel in glorious countryside with charming staff and delicious food. Our room was enormous and the bathroom had the best shower I have ever used - beyond powerful. The holiday highlight was feeding the pigs and collecting the quails eggs. The kids asked if we could live in the hotel and can't wait to come back soon.

I booked a special offer £20 2 course lunch for my wife's birthday. Road directions found us a potholed minor road, and we took a longer time than we expected to get there. But we found staff very courteous and attentive. We found a handsome country house in extensive grounds, surrounded by woods. It has a well-stocked bar with cocktails and...

Like others took advantage of the taster menu. Got here and within 15 mins we were sat down in the old library with a glass, took our time to look at menu. We were shown to our table and had a fantastic lunch. Afterwards we retired back to the old library for two hours drinking tea and reading, at no...

Lovely imposing house set in rolling acres. Drinks in one of the lovely lounges before going through for lunch. I generally love the Pigs design but we found the walls in the dining room disappointing. Whether because of the large number of panels it seemed worse I don't know. Think distressed eighties look! Food started to arrive. Piggy bits and...

We took advantage of their special offer of a £20 taster menu lunch. It was good value for The Pig. The braised ox cheek was wonderful. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Worth a wonder around the kitchen gardens. The views are spectacular. Loved the formality of The previous Combe House but think this appeals to a wider market. Looking forward...

We loved Coombe House and had high hopes when we met friends here for lunch. We have heard much of The Pig brand and were honestly expecting an excellent experience. Yes it was good, but certainly not excellent. Nobody took our coats, the menus were presented 10 minutes after our table was booked for and then promptly removed, for us...

This is by the far the best hotel I have ever stayed in, especially in the UK.. I was impressed from start to finish. Our Room was the Horse Box & it was bigger than most apartments with 4 stables made into sections of the room, sitting area with sofa footstool & tv, kettle, kitchenaid nespresso coffee machine, Smeg fridge...

Trip was to meet friends some where new but nice. This was the right place. The staff were very attentive with the food just perfect. Price is high but you get what you pay for. The hotel/restaurant is not the only facility. there seemed to be a bar-b-que area but I am not sure.
