We stayed at Blue Ball lodge for just one night and found it to be very comfortable and cosy. We had a lovely room overlooking the gardens and a little field filled with cows. Blue Ball lodge is dog friendly B&B. We didn't have a dog with us but did see other dog owners who were staying. There is no...

We had a very warm welcome by the owners as well as their hospitallity was great. The Blue Ball Lodge is absolutely wonderful and its surrounding is breathtaking. They allow dogs and there are many nice walking facilities. In the house is lots of space. The livingroom with a big fireplace is enormous and the bedrooms are just as the...

The accommodation was just wonderful .. the furniture and fixings were such high quality. We stayed in the Self Catering accommodation with our pet dog. The holiday was at the end of the summer season when it was a bit chilly outside but the apartment was just so cosy and warm. It is so unusual to find such a wonderfully...

We were looking for something special, off the beaten track, quiet, relaxing and comfortable. You will go a long way to find anything better. The owners, Corinne and Clive, were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We had an elderly (90+) mother with us so life was going to be different from previous holidays and we spent more time...

Stayed at the blue ball lodge just for one night to break a long journey in july. Corrine was a really pleasant, welcoming lady. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and so peaceful especially after a very long journey. The breakfast we got in the morning was delicious. Every need catered for. Only regret was we didn't book...

We booked through booking.com and I sent a message saying we were bringing dogs but I did not receive a reply. When we arrived we had three dogs with us and the welcome was a little cool. The property is located in spacious grounds but when we asked where we could walk the dogs we were directed out on to...

To clarify, you state “Not really dog friendly” but your dogs were not the problem!! Unfortunately the message you say you sent was never seen. As you say in the booking.com review you left, because you never received a response you ASSUMED leaving your three dogs in cages in a transit type van overnight, parked in our parking area within...

Arrived to a warm welcome from the owners and the resident dogs plus a delicious homemade cake. The lodge was very spacious clean and comfortable and well equipped. Corinne and Clive advised us of all the best places to walk our dogs and the dog friendly beaches. There is plenty of room to take your dog so they can go...

Lovely place. Unfortunately not dog friendly at all, felt really uncomfortable so we left three days early. Dogs are not allowed off the lead although the owners dogs are. Very bizarre to say they are supposed dog lovers. Was spoke to like crap when the dogs were off the lead whilst loading the car. The bloke who owns the place...

Before booking the week at Blue Ball we corresponded by email regarding your cocker spaniels. I advised there are many lanes and tracks locally for you to exercise your dogs, but due to the wildlife living on our lake your dogs needed to be kept under close control as all times to ensure they are not disturbed. Furthermore, I explained...

This is a great B&B in a lovely welcoming cottage surrounded by beautiful relaxing gardens. This was our dog's first holiday and she was made very welcome too. Room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom was immaculate. Breakfasts were very tasty too. We had a lovely weekend and visited Charmouth beach (also dog friendly at this time of...

Arrived at the lovely cottage with a warm welcome. After a long drive down it was great to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens. (Our dog loved it too!) Beds were very comfortable and the cottage was clean and tidy. A great spot and only 15/20mins drive to the beach, villages and towns. I would definitely recommend...
