If there were any reason for us to return to Lyme Regis I would not be writing this review because I would not risk others booking this wondeful cottage when we wanted to return. The problem is not with the cottage but the lack of things to do in Lyme. The self catering part of this old pub is the...

My parents and I stayed at The London a few weeks ago and had a fantastic time. We stayed in the self catering cottage which was just brilliant! The cottage had lots of space and was really well equipped with a lovely terrace at the front with views right over the sea - a great place to sit with a...

My husband and I stayed in the Garden Room, the facilities were extremely good and we couldn't possibly have been made to feel more welcome. Breakfast was a feast and was served in a private breakfast room just to the side of the bedroom. You are given a choice of eggs and a preferred time to eat along with cereals,...

We did not stay here and will not out of principal so the accommodation may be very nice. Just a warning to all to get them to be CRYSTAL CLEAR as to if they want any deposit, how much and by when. After being told no deposit was needed and then a later email changing minds asking for a £50...

Becky and I spent a long weekend at The London and enjoyed our stay so much we went back a couple of weeks later and did it again. Nick and Sarah are the perfect hosts, gracious, friendly and so helpful. We had on-site parking, a blessing in a town so busy in the summer season and our rooms were spacious,...

We stayed at the London as a family of 4, and were given a lovely room at the back of the property, it was spacious and well appointed, the hosts Nick & Sarah are absolutely delightful people, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had private parking, and were able to simply walk into town etc. Breakfast...

My friends and I stayed at the London Guesthouse when we went to a wedding at River Cottage. The owners Nick and Sarah made us feel most welcome and looked after us incredibly well. The Guesthouse was very homely and the view from the garden was beautiful. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I don't think I have ever experienced anything quite like the London Inn. I hardly know how to sum up the delights of our short stay here. We were greeted by Nick, the owner, and taken to a lovely room set in superb gardens overlooking the sea. Nothing was too much trouble for him or his partner Sarah no matter...

“Just call and talk to Nick or Sarah and let them help you choose the best room, if you are a family of 4 ask for room no 9.”

“I think we hade the most quiet room in the annex. But there you are not able to use the wifi because it's too far away from the main building. If you want to use it, just go to the main building where there are three chairs and a table in the hall outside the other bedrooms. I think the other rooms have more noise from each other (so it seemed when we sat outside). But I guess those rooms have more "atmosphere from hundreds of years ago" since the main building is hundreds of years old.”
