We visit Lyme every summer and since finding The Little Rose we always make sure to book our stay here. Bernie who runs the B&B is the loveliest, friendliest host you could wish to meet and she always makes us feel welcome. Rooms are great value for money and in a perfect location, right in the middle of town! Would... More

Had an absolutely fantastic time staying here, and it really made our weekend! Breakfast was top notch, and the host really was lovely! The bnb really had character and charm and would definitely stay again! Would recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking to stay in Lyme! :)

Bernie welcomed me warmly, and when travelling alone, that is always nice - so many places are impersonal. The place is located opposite the museum and i went on a brill fossil hunt from there. The bed was comfy, fairly quiet although on main road through town, rooms had bags of character, shower was nice and breakfast yummy. Great central... More

We stayed with berni at her BnB in August for two nights, en route to Cornwall. We had the family room two adults and a child and we shared a bathroom with another guest. The beds were very comfortable and tho it is on the roadside we slept exceedingly well. Despite the negative comments Berni looked after us really well and... More

We have been staying at the Little Rose for the past 3 years, we find it a charming "olde worlde" property, the accomodation is very comfortable. From our very first meeting Bernie welcomed us and nothing is too much trouble. She cooks the best breakfast and is a really wonderful host, we will definitely be staying again and have recommended... More

We have been coming to Little Rose B&B for the past 3 years, and Lyme Regis wouldn't be the same without staying at this charming 'olde worlde quirky' B&B. The whole of my family take over the place for bank holiday and Bernie welcomes us like her own family. Nothing is too much trouble, she cooks the best breakfast in... More

Stayed for two nights over a weekend. The room was very comfortable, full of character and had a brand new en-suite toilet/ shower, a nice surprise. There was a fair amount of noise from the road but this was to be expected from such a prime location. Bernie was great and despite the other reviews, the food was perfect. Would... More

This old quirky b & b has had lots of positive reviews but im sorry to say i cannot agree. The landlady is very pleasant and friendly but thats not enough. The room was dirty and the shared bathroom was filthy. The bedding was old and worn and the bed very uncomfortable. Cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling and the... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this charming 400 year old building full of character. The Little Rose is close to the sea front and amenities. Bernie was a delightful host and very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely visit again on a future visit to Lyme Regis.

We have stayed a couple of times as an overnight stop over for sailing. Bernie is extremely welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are full of character in keeping with the age of the house. Full English breakfast is hearty and tasty, A lovely place to stay right near the beach and the town centre. A good find!. Thank your Bernie.
