Staying at St Martins House is a joy.. Both bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped, the private bathrooms spacious and light, breakfast delicious.. Nothing is too much trouble for Caroline and Steve to make every guest feel at home. A B&B couldn´t be more personal. Thanks!

I've stayed at a fair number of B&Bs but this was fantastic, Caroline was so welcoming and her cooked breakfast was delicious. I had an early start at the nearby military base for training each morning and she was happy to accommodate my early rise without any fuss at all! The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. There...

Best ever B&B. 5 star plus. Lovely welcome from Caroline, who couldn't do enough to make our visit to her and Steve's home as comfortable as possible. Fantastic breakfast full of homemade goodies, jams, marmalades, yoghurt and lovely produce from local bakers and butchers. Full of knowledge of the area and beyond. Rooms were lovely and clean, great bathroom with...

We had a lovely stay at the b&b! The room was cosy, with all the books and frames. And you get a nice, spacious bathroom across the hall. Caroline and Steve are incredibly kind and funny people. The host makes a yummy breakfast. Thanks again for the lovely stay, the tips on what to visit in Australia and the drive...

Dear Sara I'm so glad you both enjoyed your stay with us and I just think it's brilliant that you should have traveled all the way from Belgium for the Teddy Rocks Festival in Blandford. Each year the organisers make an enormous effort to secure a fabulous line up of bands and, of course, all proceeds go to various cancer...

We stayed for one night on a weekend cycling tour and cannot recommend this highly enough. Having booked at quite short notice we were welcomed and immediately shown where our bikes could be stored securely. The bedrooms are clean, comfortable, light and airy. The bathroom across the corridor had a huge bath and an excellent separate shower. The road outside...

When travelling through Dorset we came to stay at St Martin's House in charming Blandford Forum. This is a small B&B run by a couple, Caroline and Steve, giving a feeling of coming home to some old friends. The house is spacious, tidy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was admittedly across the corridor, but reserved for our room only and...

Dear Mats Thank you so much for taking the trouble to review your stay with us. It is much appreciated. As you note, one does not have the advantage of an en-suite bathroom when staying at St Martin's House, but our decision not to install en-suite facilities was based solely upon the fact that, in our opinion, it would detract...

From the moment we arrived, we could not have asked for a better stay. Caroline and Steven gave us a generous and genuine welcome, which immediately makes you feel at home. The double room and private bathroom were spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with all and more of the usual accessories, but the sumptuous bed was supremely comfortable. For breakfast...
