Stayed here last April for two nights, had our main meals in the restaurant. Good food and the main double room was very good with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was continental, so could improve if they could do a full English.

We chose to sit in the courtyard garden and it was lovely! A tree provided the necessary shade, it was a hot, sunny day. I chose a jacket potato with chilli which was served with a salad and it was delicious. Service was excellent, friendly staff and only a short wait for our food.

We had a meal here before boarding the cross-channel ferry to the Hoek. The service was friendly and the food bgood for what it was. The total bill was just over £50 for two starters, main courses, glasses of wine, a beer, one coffee and one dessert, which we thought was pretty good.

This is a jewel of a pub, They not only have a load of history, but more importantly they do really great food and the guest ales make this a pub well worth the visit. My partner doesn't eat meat and they are always very helpful when it comes to tweaking the menu slightly to fit her needs. Highly recommended...

We stayed at this lovely little hotel from Tuesday 9-Thursday 11 August 2016. It was a lovely little break I booked for me and my boyfriend to have some alone time away. We arrived around 12:30 and were greeted and taken to our room. Room 5 was lovely and spacious and nice and clean. The hotel itself is down a...

We stayed here for two nights recently (August 2016). Our room was lovely: clean, comfortable, spacious , with a good en suite. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant which was obviously popular and well patronised. The little courtyard garden is an attractive space if the weather is good. I would have given a 4/5 star rating had it...

Tracey, Sophie and the rest of the staff are professional, friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is good too. Huge plates and delicious to boot!! I had the Crab and Crayfish with new potatoes and home...

We were a little underwhelmed with our room (room number 1 - top attic floor - hot and small) but it was the last room they had and they had warned us it was a twin room in advance (they pushed the beds together). The staff are really friendly and helpful however and made the stay very pleasant. Dinner was...
