Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very helpful staff including Letka in a clean and efficient hotel. Facilities good and comfortable. Can get a bit noisy late at night outside.Centrally located in town with plenty to do in the area. While not doing hot food there are plenty of eateries Close by.Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at this Travel Lodge twice now and on both occasions I have been very pleased with the standard of the rooms and the cleanliness of the building. More importantly, I have been very impressed with the staff who on both my visits have made me feel at home and extremely welcome. I would like to thank one particular member of staff who always has a welcoming smile for all guests. Her name is Lekha and she has been on shift on both my visits. She carries out her duties with a smile and is a great ambassador for the brand. I look forward to my next stay with Travel Lodge. Yours sincerely Paul Frith

Friendly, helpful staff. Warm and welcoming greeting. Clean and tidy room and hotel in general. Close to town centre with a car park just around the back. Would have liked a glass or plastic cup in the room for a drink of water would be the only point to raise.

I stayed here for one night, I thought the hotel was perfect in a very good location. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and complete with tea & coffee making facilities. Check in was also very easy and the staff were very friendly. I couldn’t ask for more and certainly very good value.

This hotel was as I expected with regard to the room (although I wasn’t convinced the bed was king sized) and cleanliness. Everything was in working order. It was let down by my check in experience- There was no bell or visible instructions as to what to do if there was no one at reception and after waiting about 30mins, my solution was to find the Travelodge number on line and call it to speak to the receptionist- I arrived around 21:00-22:00 so it was not excessively late and others were also waiting at reception.
