We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend Friday to Monday in the upstairs room in the old farmhouse. Very large and comfortable room overlooking the fields with a really comfortable bed. Across the landing was a separate shower and then a large bathroom with loo, bidet , bathtub and washbasin - with a large window again looking over the...

I stayed for three nights and felt it was an excellent choice for a woman travelling on her own. The room was large, comfortable, amd quiet. You get your own front door and key, parking outside the door, an excellent bed, lovely bed linen and towels and reliable wifi. Plus a good breakfast freshly prepared while you wait - the...

So all the things you'd expect from a farm stay: warm reception, friendly dog, excellent cooked breakfast prepped in front of you while you wait - but also a good wifi & all at a very fair price! The only issue here is them having room for you (or more importantly, for me) when I'm next back in this part...

Lovely room, spacious and high ceiling. As others have said close parking outside and own key/front door. Brilliant breakfasts and Sue sources as much as possible locally. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. It is a dog friendly B&B.

Stayed here one night and thought it was very convenient and clean and tidy. Great advantage to us was the rooms are in a converted farm yard and therefore have their own parking and front door so you could do what you liked when you wanted! The other was they took dogs which was wonderful and fairly rare in this...

Sadly we only had time for one night here while visiting the History Live festival at Kelmarsh Hall. I wish we'd been able to stay an extra night or two as it was a lovely place, beautifully done, and Sue and John were very welcoming. We stayed in the upstairs room in the farmhouse and had a stunning morning view...

We spent one night at Sutton Lodge last weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very welcoming, went out of her way to help, and cooked a great breakfast. Overall very comfortable, welcoming and great value for money.

It is conveniently located, a15 min drive to Rockingham, as well as being near to both Rutland Water which is fantastic for watersports and cycling, and Market Harborough. Sue was very welcoming and made an excellent breakfast each morning for us - Full english,,cereal, yoghurts, juice, tea, coffee etc all...

This is an unusual mix of Motel and B & B. The setting is a working farm in a converted set of farm buildings forming a courtyard of self- contained accommodations. Each unit has its own key and you can park by the door and come and go as you please. The farm is surrounded by wonderful rural expanses of fields...

Having just spent nearly 3 weeks touring England staying only in b&bs, this was by far our favourite! Why? For it's genuine character, lack of chintz (!), wonderful hosts, large rooms and plentiful breakfast and best of all its lovely location on an English working farm, the kids loved it too, and fondest memories of the chickens will stay forever!...

Imagine staying in a family-run bed and breakfast on a working farm set in the midst of the rolling hills of Northamptonshire's Welland Valley with animals tranquilly grazing outside. A newly converted Victorian barn within the farm complex offers three comfortable en suite rooms at ground floor level with their own private entrance and plenty of secure parking. Situated at the end of an avenue of lime trees, Sutton Lodge is only a 10 minute walk away from the picturesque village of Sutton Bassett with its traditional pub. In fact its location - bordering the counties of Rutland, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire - will appeal to business people and tourists alike.
