Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

All three of us needed a rest. The journey was 1 and half hours but we detoured and had lunch at St Leonard’s observation Point and a walk on the beach We arrived at our lodgings a converted saddlery and settled in. Walks in all directions for our dog and no restrictions . The standard of accommodation was very high , quirky, but with everything you need . The instant hot water and heating meant comfort guaranteed and also fresh produce from the farm was available The hosts Paul and Flora were genuinely friendly and helpful we were also given an informative talk about the clock and the history of the land and hall. This was much appreciated and added to the whole experience . I found the air quality very high as I have sensitive lungs and I noticed that my breathing had started to improve. With the gentle lowing of the cattle and the hoot of the resident owl this is a very special and wonderful place to stay

Just had a week in The Stables. What a wonderful and unique place to stay. So many original features of the building's history mixed with a lovely, comfortable and well equipped holiday let. The owners are so welcoming and there is much to see on the farm, alongside it being very relaxing. Nearby Louth is a lovely town to visit. Looking forward to a return trip.

We had a fantastic break away. Paul, Flora and team have things just right - the accommodation is clean, comfortable and welcoming. It is clear a great deal of effort is put in to the grounds and site in general. Brilliant. Certainly more than 'just a holiday cottage'. We look forward to returning in the future. Dan, Fay and little Max

This is a unique experience. It is ecologically sustainable tourism, a stay at an 18th century country house, in a luxury apartment created from the Coach House building. Self catering, everything thought of, hosts Paul and Flora there to ensure that you have a top flight experience in a peaceful, pastoral setting. Glorious.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brackenborough Hall Coach House! There was loads of things there for children to do (no need to take toys or games for indoors or the garden!) and they had a great time climbing in tractors and looking at the animals as we had a tour of the farm. Paul and Flora couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful, making sure everything was as we needed it. Would recommend it to other families or groups with children.

Excellent conversion of an old granary. Very comfortable and lots of space for extended family or friends and very well equiped. Close to town and easy journey to the sea. Our grandkids loved seeing the calves and the combining. We could not recommend it more highly

Well what can we say other than, the place is amazing as always, clean, pet friendly, everything you need. We always stay in the Stables. Feels like our second home, You’ve got the outdoor freedom, lots of walks, combine harvester, the cows, bull, chickens, ducks, wildlife all around. Football, tennis, table tennis, vegetable garden, the woods, the Volley to see that’s just been rebuilt, the telly tubby tree. harvesting. Fabulous 5* apartments. See you again next year we miss you guys, Julie Ian and the boys from Grimsby xxxx

We have recently returned from another fantastic break at Brackenborough Hall. This time we stayed in the granary and what a space to enjoy that is! Full of historic features and immaculately clean, it has an epic amount of space and comfortable furnishings. We could have stayed forever had we not had husbands and jobs 😂 See you again Paul and Flora and thanks again for a wonderful stay. Merry Christmas

We stayed at brackenborough Hall Coach House in July. We hired all three flats, which was perfect for our family group - 8 adults, three young children and two dogs. It could comfortably host more though. It really is the most perfect place - they've thought of everything, from the delicious welcome plum loaf, to the massive collection of toys and games, both in the flats and outside. The garden is secure for dogs and small children and we ate outside every day. We also had many lovely walks in the farm, and ate fresh veg from Paul and flora's wonderful kitchen garden. We hardly saw anything of Lincolnshire really as we spent so much time on the farm - including a great tour from Paul. But louth is a lovely little town, and sure we'll explore more when we're back - which we certainly plan to be!
