Don't have a dog but the owners have two nice little dogs. Lovely food, rooms, staff and good friendly atmosphere in the bar with a warm open fire. Local customers very friendly and happy to talk. What more do I need to say. It was a nice stay.

excellent stay with good breakfasts, we had 2 rooms both at the front. The service we received from arriving to departure was excellent. Although would have preferred the hotel not to cater for dogs particularly allowing them in the dining room

Room a little small with no wardrobe facility but otherwise comfortable. Food very good and massive portions. Location is excellent and really interesting to see the horses training each day. There are four pubs in the village and all had roaring fires, Richard 111 lit their fires in all public rooms at 0800

“We were expecting a twin which we asked for but it was a massive 6ft bed so it didn't really matter but would if you were sharing with someone who was such a good friend or family. Good great but portions too big. Staff really friendly would visit again. ”
