Food plentiful and of a good quality. Definitely suit those with a large appetite. Our room was directly over the bar area, and the general noise from below meant that it was not possible to get to sleep until after everyone had left - which is of course beyond your control.

My wife, me and our Labrador had a really enjoyable 3 night winter break at the Richard III Hotel in Middleham. The hotel was relaxing and the staff made us feel very welcome. The food and drink was good quality with plenty of choice. Breakfast was superb.The Richard III room

Wonderful food!! Great atmosphere. Loved the fact that Richard 111 is dog friendly - we weren't able to bring our "pack" of 3 but it was nice to share everyone else's dogs for the weekend. Rooms were good too and the girls that were working couldn't do enough for us. I'm sure

Booked the inn for 2 nights b&b in midweek. The Prince Edward bedroom had a view of the town square and had it's private bathroom next door. I think we were lucky to get the last available room. The breakfast was absolutely top class as were the evening meals served by friendly

Food was very good. Staff were very friendly. We only had time to do one walk but there are several more around Middleham which we would do when we go next.Parking was good either out side or in the square opposite and it was free.

"Room 7 does not have an ensuite but you have sole use of a bathroom about 5 paces away & they provide a dressing gown for you."
