Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Fantastic stay at The Endeavour- beautifully situated in the heart of the village of Staithes- lovely comfortable en suite room with super luxurious bed and bed linen. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with all locally sourced produce- our hosts were lovely and friendly and nothing was to much trouble- we will definitely stay again.

My partner and I fancied a short break in lovely Staithes. She stumbled upon this wonderful B&B whilst searching online. Run by a charming young couple Cameron and Caroline, this characterful B&B is ideally located at the bottom of the hill just a few yards away from the harbour area, opposite the Royal George pub with the Cod and Lobster just around the corner. Our spacious room was located at the top of three flights of stairs but the spectacular views of the harbour and the sea more than made it worthwhile. Our room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely corner bath. Breakfast is pre-ordered the night before along with your preferred dining time. The choice of breakfast was marvellous as was each of the dishes we chose. Our hosts made us very welcome both in their charming B&B, and also across the road in the Royal George where chatted over a pint or two. All-in-all we were very happy indeed with this lovely establishment, and are already planning to return in the spring.

Booked a two night stay for hubby's birthday, and this place did not disappoint. Cameron met us upon arrival. He was very friendly and helpful. Our room on the top floor was fabulous, lovely decor with great views over the harbour. We had coffee (instant and ground) and tea with fresh milk and water replenished as required. We ordered breakfast the evening before, with a few options available. We had a full English the first morning and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs the second. Both breakfasts were cooked to perfection with quality ingredients. Cameron was so attentive, making sure everything was to our satisfaction. You can not beat the location, it is 5 mins from harbour. I'd advise visitors to book the car park at the top if the hill. We will definitely return to this hotel and certainly recommend it. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!!

A lovely little stay. We only stayed for a night but we had a wonderful stay. Cameron, host, was lovely upon arrival and at breakfast. He also made it clear if we needed anything during our stay he'd help, and I have no doubts. Bedroom and bathroom really nice sizes. Bed comfy and shower nice and hot/powerful. Lovely little touches here and there too. Especially like commitment to the environment with toiletry refills and also filtered water in a bottle and fresh milk in a pod for lasting. Breakfast was also delicious, fresh and well cooked. Would highly recommend, good price too. Will definitely be back.

Great little B and B on the Cleveland way. Lovely room looking over the little Main Street. Nicely presented with tastefully done captain cook/ nautical theme. Not noisy despite the position and blinds to give screening as required. Comfortable although slightly unsteady bed. Effective shower and nice toiletries. Great breakfasts with local kippers if desired. There is no longer any restaurant here, but there are a couple of pubs close by.

We have just returned from a night at The Endeavour and the room was lovely, spacious and clean with proper fresh milk and bottled water. Cameron the owner is a lovely man and made us feel very welcome. Staithes itself is beautiful and we was a stones throw away from the beautiful harbour. Thank you Cameron for a lovely stay.x

This place was a real find. Comfortable nicely renovated rooms in the heart of a small village on the Yorkshire coast. This B&B is run by a friendly and capable host who also backs up as a skilled breakfast chef. The room was warm, cosy, with plenty of space and has been tastefully redecorated. Would happily come back to Staithes just to stay at this establishment. Thanks.

Can't fault this b&b. Lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed. We only met Cameron but he was extremely welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic one of the best I've had. Not too much either so we didn't struggle going up the hill. We'll try and return one day if we can get in! It's very popular, deservedly.
