Stayed here as part of a HF walking holiday for the coastal section of St Oswalds Way. We had paid for a premium room, which was spacious and comfortable. If I'd stayed longer I'd probably have put on weight, even with walking every day. The food was plentiful and excellent, and the staff were a joy. Really recommend this hotel...

Stayed here as part of a HF Heritage holiday. This was my first visit to this part of the country and couldn't have chosen a nicer spot - views from bedroom window of the sea and the sand dunes. It was communal dining which was organised very well and is part of the ethos of HF. Having to choose the...

This house is an HF a holidays house and we had Hooke two nights bed and breakfast. Apart from is there was a party of musicians on a week holiday. Breakfast and dinner were superb and there were three large tables so we sat with the musician group, which was charming for us.

Stayed for third time at Nether Grange to enjoy seasonal company and walking with HF. My single room with ensuite was warm and comfortable - located overlooking a quiet lane but with sea views. Food excellent as usual. Staff courteous and friendly. I would recommend for HF holiday (activity holidays). The hotel has a magnificent central staircase. Close to the...

We stayed at Nether Grange as part of an HF Holiday. We've been on quite a few now and enjoy sitting on communal table and socializing with other guests. Our bedroom (No 6) was roomy and comfortable with a good view of the sea. A decent shower too. Some of our fellow guests who didn't have en-suite facilities did find...

I have stayed at a few HF houses so the experience was not new and I am quite happy to sit on a communal table and chat with other guests. This was my first visit to Nether Grange and was not part of an HF holiday so a rather different experience. I was also aware in advance that there is...

I stayed in room 11 from 16/10/15 to 19/10/15 and I could fault nothing, the food was really excellent. 4 main courses to chose from every night it was nicely presented and cooked, the chef needs commending. I liked the fact that we were on a different table every day and met so many different people. The staff were very...

My partner and I stayed just one night at Nether Grange, and the experience was certainly different. The stay was booked through Booking.com on a weeked when the Rugby World Cup seemed to have cornered just about every bed in the NE. Nether Grange therefore would not have featyred in my normal choice of rooms. That said the builing itslf...

Nether Grange was originally built as a Granary in the 17th century. It has a wonderful setting just yards from a beautiful sandy beach, and located in the small village of Alnmouth which has a good selection of eating places and pubs selling meals. The convenient main line rail station of Alnmouth is a short taxi ride away. The bedrooms...

Myself and the family had a fabulous week at this hotel in August. The two stand out things were the managers and staff and the food. The managers and staff were unfailingly pleasant, helpful and accommodating and worked to ensure that you had a really good holiday. We were travelling with a family and they were really helpful and kind...
