Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the perfect place for us to stay in Gairloch. When planning the trip, I was having difficulty finding a room, and I felt so fortunate to have stumbled upon Muldoanich B&B .
Our spacious room had a lovely view out of the window. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated. The shower was awesome.....plenty of hot water. Towels included wash cloths, which was a rarity on this last trip.
There was a hair dryer for use as well.
A complimentary hostess tray featuring a kettle with tea/coffee/ and hot chocolate also included a cookie treat for both us to enjoy each evening.
Breakfast was in a large airy room, which featured a beautiful view. The hot meal was chosen the evening prior, and we had the choice of yogurt with fresh fruit to enjoy as well in the morning. Everything was delicious.
The B&B is within easy walk of dinner in the village. We just left the car parked at the house.
If you are looking for a special Scotland stay that embraces nature, is quiet, and has awesome hosts, then this is the place to choose. You won't regret it!

Beautiful property located on the hill overlooking the loch, with views from our bedroom window. The bedroom and bathroom themselves were stylish, clean and comfortable. Lovely friendly host who were more than accommodating and even offered to dry our wet clothes after a day of Gorge walking. They gave us recommendations of walks and eateries and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty f options to choose from. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Gairloch.

Welcoming B&B with pleasant and helpful hosts. It’s in a quiet spot to the north-west of the centre of Gairloch. Within easy walking distance of the nearest hotel (Millcroft), which proved a good choice for dinner. Plentiful and delicious breakfast at Muldoanich.

Outside seating and the comfortable residents’ lounge had good sea views, which I think are also enjoyed by the other guest room, though not ours. Everywhere clean, modern and well-equipped. We were very comfortable. Thank you.

We spent one night at Muldoanich in Gairloch in September. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and there was a good choice at breakfast. The hosts were really friendly and were doing a great job within the current COVID restrictions. Unfortunately the lounge wasn't open due to the virus but that didn't affect us at all. We would definitely recommend Muldoanich if you are stopping in Gairloch. In the current circumstances would recommend booking somewhere for dinner as places get booked up early.

This was our 2nd stay at Muldoanich B&B, and once again it was outstanding. Marion and Robbie are great hosts. When we booked, Marion sent us contact details for local restaurants so that we could make reservations in advance. She also arranged for a friend to let us in on arrival day when she couldn’t be there for us.
Our twin room was immaculate and has an ensuite with a walk in shower. Guests also have use of a comfortable lounge. Breakfast is ordered the night before, and served in a room with views of the gardens and the loch below. The breakfasts are exceptional. The bacon, eggs etc. are cooked to perfection and portion sizes are very generous. There’s also cereal, yoghurt, fruit and more.
Marion and Robbie make everyone who stays with them feel very welcome, and they always seem interested in what their guests have been up to during their stay. This is without a doubt the best B&B we have ever stayed in. We highly recommend it 10/10

We stayed here as part of our NC500 journey. We felt very covid secure. Warm welcome from hosts, lovely comfortable bed, massive and luxurious shower, delicious breakfast. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders as we ate our breakfast.

The property is modern and clean as was the spacious bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was really nice with a good choice. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Our room did not have a view but there is a great view over the water from the breakfast room in the front of the house and a nice outside space with similar. There was a lounge also at the front but the owners have decided not to open this up to residents again yet since Covid, which is a shame. several restaurants to walk to, ours, Myrtle Bank Hotel took about 15 minutes.

Stayed for 1 night. Our room had a lovely view over Gairloch. The room and en-suite (with a rain shower) were a good size and spotless. Did not hear a sound during the night or in the morning and was surprised to see other guests in the morning. There is a list in the room to complete with your breakfast selection & time that you would like it, to leave in the dining room. Breakfast was very nice and of good quality. Would stay again and recommend this b&b to others.

Just spent two days here. The accommodation is immaculate, the best we have stayed in on our travels in Scotland over the last 12 years. The owners are a lovely couple. Breakfast was great, nothing is too much trouble. The views are spectacular. Would highly recommend.
