We booked this the same morning we stayed. Good choice. Twin room was very spacious, with room for everything. Comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Very nice breakfast and friendly hostess Alison. It was it is a little out of town but that was fine. A very nice stay and would recommend.

A very friendly host welcoming you, very helpful. Even had veggie sausages for me (Linda McCartney ones) even though I hadn't let her know I was vegetarian before I arrived. Room was spotlessly clean with sea views and it was huge. Location is quiet and just a 5 minutes walk to the local inn. Beds very comfy. Heating was switched on if you needed it (which I did), and that is very attentive because most B&Bs do not have the heating switched on in August (even though it might just be 10 degrees outside).

We stayed 2 nights at the Heatherdale and were very impressed. The property is on the edge of Gairloch and in handy reach of anywhere in the area. We were met by owner Alison who was very welcoming and cheery. Shown to our room that was spotlessly clean and decorated. We stayed in the King room facing the road and due to the property's raised position we heard no noise from the road. Breakfast was at 08:30 and with plenty of hot and cold items available. We had a cooked breakfast which is whatever you wanted cooked just as you order. No complaints at all. Alison has lived in this area all her life and is a mine of good information on local trips and attractions. She was even helpful with advice on for journey to our next destination. So kind. If you need a good recommendation for an evening meal then Alison will do this. Personally we tried The Mill pub nearby which is popular but very good. You are best advised to book a table but the food is worth it. This is a quality property with a caring owner and I recommend it whole hearted. We will not hesitate to use Heatherdale again when in the area.

Highly recommended. Friendly, clean, tidy and fresh looking. Fab view out to sea from the bedroom window. Comfortable beds. Generally just a lovely room and b&b with a good cooked breakfast. Would book again if staying in the area.
