We originally booked as we were attending a friend's wedding in the local area, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic. However we are glad we kept the booking - it's a wonderful B&B - clean, modern, comfortable and spacious with a lovely view of the huge garden (sadly it was too wet to make use of this). Hosts were extremely kind and helpful - happy to give pub/restaurant recommendations and the brochure in the room was updated to include telephone numbers to book & which restaurants were currently open, which was very helpful. Good location for Bath, Salisbury, Stonehenge, New Forest etc. The local station is very close, with trains straight to Waterloo. Due to current restrictions/limitations, we were the only guests staying at the B&B and had a wonderful continental breakfast - very filling. Hosts are conscious of the social distancing regulations so we felt very safe. We hope to be back next year for when the wedding is rescheduled!…
Our stay at Hare Lodge whilst the last before visiting family in Sussex. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque. The B&B was immaculate throughout and the owners George and Sue are extremely nice people who were very helpful with suggestions of places to dine in the local area. The room was very spacious with everything you could need, including a balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was served at a time to suit us with a good range of cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, followed by a yummy cooked breakfast! Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!
Hosts couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful throughout my stay. The property was beautifully presented, and spotlessly clean. The garden is a masterpiece! Breakfast was delicious and eggs arrived perfectly.
Beautiful room, comfy bed, generous and tasty breakfast, very pleasant hosts and all for a reasonable price! Driving around Tisbury is a challenge so bring a road map. Visit nearby Wardour Castle if you've time.
We, a family of 5 people, were hosted in the perfect B & B of Sue and George, charming people who hosted us for 2 very calm and pleasant nights. The house is decorated in a warm and clean style with large windows facing a large green courtyard that hosts beautiful birds that also share loving care from the owner. The British breakfast is tasty and served intimately in a charming dining room. I really liked the help of the landlord in planning our tours in the area. Thank you every thing was perfect.
