We had a great time. It is a lovely place. Warm welcome. The room was big and very nice. The breakfast was great and freddy told us many interesting things about area and people. The advise for dinner in ballachulish was super. Thank you very much.

My husband and I overnighted at Morven Cottage in Glencoe on the first night of our road-trip around Scotland. After a long drive up from Somerset and with good few hours’ worth of walking in the Glencoe foothills under our belts we were pleased to arrive at a warm and cosy cottage. We overestimated the size of the village of... More

My mum and I stayed here one night while doing the West Highland Way. Kings house hotel was fully booked and so we took the bus to Glencoe. This BnB was a great alternative and definitely a welcome sight at the end of a long and rainy day. Freddie was lovely and also made a wonderful cooked breakfast for us... More

We stayed overnight at Glencoe, aiming at the ski resort very early the next morning (Freddie, the landlady, recommended being at the parking very early, and so we did). Freddie was really welcoming, especially nice to our young daughter. The room was very warm and homely. The house is decorated with wooden sculptures and original boiserie. Breakfast was tasty and... My family stayed at Morven for a week after Christmas and it was a nice stay. Freddie was super helpful, very friendly and could always provide good hints and insights about local attractions. Breakfasts were great every morning and kept us going for many hours. The room was good and comfy but I'd suggest maybe adding a larger chest of... More

Such a lovely home, host and setting! Wish we had been able to stay longer in this area to take some of the many hikes available. Freddie, the hostess, is lovely in every way--and an excellent cook! Our room was comfy, our every need was attended to, the price was fair and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance.... More

Freddie is exactly what a B&B host should be. She could certainly teach some others I've come across a few things. She was warm, welcoming and helpful and really made us feel that we were guests in her home. The house is adorable and charming, the room large and comfortable and the views from the room were stunning. The breakfast... More

I have been staying at Morven Cottage for many years now, and every time I'm so impressed with this sweet little B&B. It has a wonderful homey feel, not only because of its history as a croft house, but also because of the amazingly warm and friendly hosts. They make breakfast a nice relaxed time where other B&Bs can sometimes... More
