Spent a night here and nice to see the rooms have just been refurbished. Cosy room with the perfect view. Monday meant that deliveries hadn’t been made yet so the menu was a little thin, although the food was tasty and hearty. Love the log fire in the Boot Bar and a Quiz Night

I stayed here on the West Highland way as Kings house was being rebuilt. Absolutely amazing views. Two restaurant bars and great outside space. I was lucky to get a sunny evening to enjoy breathtaking views on the landscape. The rooms where comfortable, shower has a bit rubbish.

If you are walking the whole WHW then you will pass the Kings house hotel which has an excellent boot bar at the back and then sadly the walk crosses over the devils staircase to drop down into kinlochleven so the walk skirts the eastern end of glen Coe while the chlachaig is at the other end of glen Coe there is a perfectly good path to it through glen Coe but it's a fair extra detour of the WHW
