I've just read a couple of of reviews which were less than positive and accurate. If you're expecting 5* accommodation you will be disappointed. If however, you want something simple, inexpensive, clean and comfortable then this an ideal choice. Situated close to Glencoe and Fort William surrounded by stunning mountains it provides easy access to the many walking routes in the area. The owner Johnny is welcoming, friendly and helpful, being able to provide so much information about where to go and what to do in the surrounding area. One minor point to note is plan your eating options in advance. The local chip shop might suit many people but the local "gastro pup" is extremely popular in the busy season and booking in advance is advised. If you're happy to drive Fort William is minutes along the road. I have literally just returned from there and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We stayed three days after doing the West Highland Way (good lay over if you plan to go home via Edinburgh or Glasgow) Johnny is very open and welcoming. he can give good advice for stuff to do or places to eat. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The shared bathroom was always clean and fresh. we absoluty adore this place and will be back for sure!

Sad and dark place, with the ceiling in the dining room leaking. Room on second floor was dark, and the toilet was almost impossible for us to flush. The owner demonstrated it with a smile, gee, buddy, fix the toilet. We stayed in six other B&B's in the UK during our trip, and they ran from fine to traditional to romantic. We had two nights prepaid, and decided to not stay the second night. Owner did not offer a refund. I hope he uses the cash to fix up the place!

Gosh like some others I’m afraid I was disappointed with my stay. Jonny is delightful but announced on our arrival he was exhausted and not had a day off in 5 weeks - that the local pub was closed - and the midges were out in full force… I get the feeling he’s a bit fed up. The room was a bit like being on the set of Stranger Things - dated and could do with a deep clean. The outside of the property was tired - paint flaking off the front step and wall - if there’d been some paint and a brush I would have done it for him. First impressions and all that. Oh and there was a poor soul shouting for help in the care home next door - broke my heart .. Now to the good things - breakfast was fabulous! If you’re looking for basic accommodation there is nothing wrong with Park View b&b. Sorry for the review but I feel to justify the reviews on booking.com and price there needs to be some upgrades to the property.

We stayed here as part of a west highlight way walk. One advantage of staying here rather than Kingshouse (where the trail goes) is the drive through Glencoe, which we would otherwise have missed. We had a great meal in the Laroch pub. At the B&B, Johnny was a genial and welcoming host, well travelled, with plenty of books and interesting stories to evidence it. And breakfast was great...

Hat off to Johnny who was a friendly chatty host and a pleasure to meet. Sadly I was disappointed at the rooms we were given in the attic. Not what we were expecting having seen the nice rooms on Booking.com I am struggling to write this as hate to upset anyone, but really feel I need to give my honest view. I know others have given good feedback but I guess we all have different standards. No breakfast included in price but Johnny kindly did provide us with a choice of options free. We had two rooms on the top floor with our own shower. The rooms are clearly not finished and have broken furniture. These really should not be let until they are upgraded. Bed not made up on arrival. The second room had no storage or hanging facility. Having stayed at a b&b in Inverness for previous two nights that was immaculate and beautifully presented we were sadly disappointed at Park View. Am sure I would be writing a very different review if we had been given one of the advertised rooms. Sorry but I won’t be back 🥹

The host was very friendly, but for this price we had expected a bit more to be honest. The shower was great and the beds were nice, but the bathroom was very small and the rooms were small and a little simple compared to the other B&B's we stayed at, despite this being the most expensive B&B of our holiday. The curtains also let through a lot of light, so we woke up a bit earlier than we had wanted to. It's also quite difficult to find a place to eat near this B&B. Not much the host can do about this, but it's good to know beforehand.

We stayed here on day 5 of our West Highland Way walk. Booked as part of our walking holiday package, we hadn't done any research and were pleasantly surprised. We were taken from Kingshouse to the B&B by taxi and the journey was just stunning. The B&B is in a beautiful part of the country and there was a shinty match being played when we got there which was a nice little bonus. The room was comfortable and clean and although a bit small for all of our walking gear, we managed. The shower was hot, the bed was comfy and the room had a TV and tea/coffee making facilities and a beautiful view. We walked down to the local chippy for dinner and ate it in the garden of the B&B on what was a beautiful night. We had breakfast at the B&B in the morning - I have to say it was the best breakfast of our whole trip. Plentiful, cooked to perfection and served in a lovely dining area. Johnny was a fantastic host, very friendly and helpful and we would certainly stay here again if we are in the area.

I've stayed at Park View a couple of times now and would highly recommend it. The host Johnny is very friendly and welcoming and he also does a great full-cooked breakfast. Loads of great areas to explore close by too.
