Wow! An amazing modern cottage, full of every conceivable convenience! Three very special bedrooms, lovely linen. Underfloor heating, double glazing, wood burning stove and central heating creates a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. A huge, brilliantly equipped kitchen, a large comfortable sitting room, with large flat TV, a large utility room and hall as well as a garage room for wellies... More

Second stay at West Cottage and again met all our expectations. On arrival we had a lovely welcome from Sue and we felt immediately at home. Sue had set out a tea tray with home made shortbread biscuits which was most welcomed after our journey. The cottage caters for all needs and is clean and well presented. If you like... More

This was our first visit to Millsyde and we couldn't have chosen a better holiday cottage! It was so lovely, peaceful and relaxing in glorious countryside, although being just 5 minutes drive into Kelso, which has some excellent restaurants! We received such a warm welcome, the kettle was boiling, tea table set with homemade shortbread biscuits and the most gorgeous... More

For the 7th time we stay at Henderside in one of the cottages. Again a good time. From the garden we ate blackberries, raspberries, apples, plums, elderberries. We come next year to go back. The host lady is great and very well informed about what is going on in the borders..

It had been 24 years since my last visit, my three children and I had a relaxing break and chance to explore and have fun in the borders. I am no stranger of the self catering cottage but every day I found just how completely the cottage was equipped - we wanted for nothing and with Sue and Henry on... More

Must say we now know why people return so often. The cottage was exactly as we had been told (by our son & family who stayed here last year) and we also had a lovely welcome from Sue. Shortbread and tea tray ready for us on arrival, together with six fresh eggs which we just had to try - delicious.... More

Have recently returned from a fortnight's holiday at Hendersyde Farm & can't speak highly enough of the welcome received on arrival. We stayed in West Cottage which is well equipped, comfy & very homely plus the garden is ideal for our dogs & great to relax in at the end of the day. On arrival, Sue had laid out afternoon... More

Our 4th stay at Hendersyde, and its as good as ever. We stayed at West Cottage for 2 weeks, as its dog friendly. Warm welcome from Sue, great rock cakes. Cottage as clean and tidy as usual, and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Lovely enclosed garden overlooking the fields, deer seen there, and a hare in the lane, plenty of... More

Life is elegant in Millsyde. My favourite part was waking up. The beds are dreamy and linen perfect, but it is the deep silence of the country broken only by the lambs and birds. If you hear a car it is an event. It seems very remote, but Kelso is only five minutes away. The ever-helpful Sue is convinced she... More
