Lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. Well equipped and situated in beautiful rural surroundings. Sue made us feel very welcome and was very attentive throughout. Dog friendly with fully enclosed garden and lovely walks all around. Despite current COVID restrictions we felt very relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We certainly hope to return in the not too distant future.
We were blessed with warm weather which helped but we had the best possible time here. The cottage was as warm as Sue’s welcome, the view was calming and the whole place was just peaceful and quiet. There is a lovely garden, where we picked raspberries and apples, that is perfect for children to run around in safely. We slept so well on the super comfy bed and pillows! The Covid systems in place made us feel very safe too. We can’t recommend this place enough and it’s also in the most gorgeous location.
Sue Beck has created a beautiful and cosy cottage in which to enjoy the glorious scenery of The Scottish Borders. She welcomed us warmly with delicious rock cakes and tea and was always available to answer any questions we might have had. The cottage had everything one could ask for on holiday - pretty garden and stunning views from all the rooms and even partridge and hares to surprise us on our walks around the farm! We will return soon. Thank you, Sue, for a wonderful holiday.
Thank you to Sue for a lovely week. A very well equipped cottage, with a pretty outdoor space and glorious views. We arrived to find the tea things set and drop scones, tea and milk provided. Sue even provide eggs, that were delicious. The cottage was spotless and we felt very safe and cared for. The walks on the farm were lovely and it was delightful to just step out of the front door and wonder. There was also shared space, great for children - and for outdoor yoga!
We had a lovely visit to Hendersyde Farm. Sue welcomed us with delicious rock buns but was available if we had any queries. A clean, comfortable cottage with amazing views and lots of wildlife right on the door step. Deer, foxes, hare and more. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of extras. Lovely walks around the farm. Great location just outside Kelso within easy reach of other Border towns and even Bamburgh and Holy Island. We'll be back!
