Lovely cottage, quiet place to relax. Well equipped, lovely welcome, enjoyed the shortbread and eggs. Ideal base to explore the Borders. Would definetely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing, restful break.

Have recently returned from a fortnight's holiday at Hendersyde Farm & can't speak highly enough of the welcome received on arrival. We stayed in West Cottage which is well equipped, comfy & very homely plus the garden is ideal for our dogs & great to relax in at the end of the day. On arrival, Sue had laid out afternoon...

Our 4th stay at Hendersyde, and its as good as ever. We stayed at West Cottage for 2 weeks, as its dog friendly. Warm welcome from Sue, great rock cakes. Cottage as clean and tidy as usual, and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Lovely enclosed garden overlooking the fields, deer seen there, and a hare in the lane, plenty of...

Life is elegant in Millsyde. My favourite part was waking up. The beds are dreamy and linen perfect, but it is the deep silence of the country broken only by the lambs and birds. If you hear a car it is an event. It seems very remote, but Kelso is only five minutes away. The ever-helpful Sue is convinced she...

Southsyde is the middle of three cottages in a peaceful, rural location with splendid views all around. Sue has thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Her rock cakes are delicious and really welcome after a long journey. The cottage is super clean and well presented. The kitchen has all the equipment you could possibly need...

A perfect location for our spring fishing break. Very friendly welcome from Sue plus lots of goodies including rock cakes, eggs and strawberries in the fridge. Wonderfully appointed and furnished and a kitchen that had everything. Great views of the surrounding countryside and just a short drive into Kelso and our beat on the river.

We had been dying to escape from Edinburgh to the country to unwind for a few days. The farm cottage was perfect for that; lovely and cosy by the fire. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bedroom. We received a great welcome from Sue. Thanks for the delicious home made cranberry (and orange?) shortbread. The weather was so much better than...

A lovely relaxing week in Southsyde to spend our Easter holidays and celebrate my wife`s Birthday. Fresh eggs on arrival (mixed with chocolate mini eggs!) were a nice touch. The peaceful surroundings ensured a sound nights sleep night after night and all linen and towels were so crisp and of an excellent quality. We wanted for nothing and everything within...
