The hotel lacks character for such an imposing building right in the centre of the town. Staff are very good but the restaurant food was poor and the room I had was very dated and uncomfortable. Definitely not be staying again.

I only stayed for one night as I was visiting a friend and had no complaints about the food, been once before years ago for a meal only. My friend, who lives in Kippen, has eaten there frequently and I haven't heard her complain. It's a popular eating place.
