Warm & welcoming hosts, extremely clean & comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts. All in all, a lovely B&B, nothing was too much trouble. It is conveniently located off the A75 with easy off road parking.

Very convenient stop over near the A75 after a long drive towards the ferry port at Cairnryan. Excellent private parking with easy access for van and trailer. A friendly greeting by Basil and Sue upon arrival, and a fresh pot of tea set out. The house is characterful on the outside, with a delightful garden and lovely conservatory. The interior... More

The owners Basil and Sue know the area well and are very helpful in find what your looking for near and far. The breakfast really is second to none home made bread and free range eggs, the works.... Comfortable room, everything immaculate. A spacious sun-room for the use of guests, with Sue and Basil, our hosts, extremely hospitable and full of helpful information. Add to this breakfasts of quite exceptional quality, with delicious touches like home-cured bacon and home-made marmalade, and you have bed and breakfast accommodation that would be hard to beat under any circumstances.

I am always cautious on grading high on my reviews, leaving room to mark higher when I find better. Even with this in mind I am compelled to say this is the best B and B I have found, cannot find fault. Bas and Sue do a wonderful job in making you feel welcome and spoiled. The property has been... Very friendly welcome and Sue gave us fresh coffee and biscuits which made us feel at home straight away. Spotless throughout and great attention to detail, such as fresh milk in your room instead of UHT - what a treat. And breakfast was superb, offering local produce and home made foods. Our lasting memory is of a warm and attentive... More

This property just outside Newton Stewart was ideal for us as a base for our exploration of the area. Bas and Sue were the perfect hosts and Bas with our breakfast service had to be experienced. Our room although small was neat, clean and functional. Well done and thanks. If staying make sure you try Bas's sausages.
