Carnoch is situated in an ideal position for exploring delightful Ullapool village on foot. Our host Robbie Mackenzie was extremely friendly, informative, and served an excellent breakfast.....her home-made porridge in particular was truly delicious. Carnoch was originally a fisherman's cottage and has a lot of charm. The room was very clean, well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. We were... More

Room was very clean and breakfast was superb! Lovely view out over the bay. Mrs Mackenzie made sure we were very comfortable and was very attentive which made it a really enjoyable stay! Try and remember to read the label under the Ship's Cat that sleeps in the hallway...

Our room at Cornach was quite nice, with a bit of extra room created by the dormer windows. Unfortunately, the house being quite old brought with it some disadvantages. As a first, the ceiling was only +/- 2.00m high, and the doorposts to the room and ensuite bathroom +/- 1.80m. As my husband is 1.93m, this was rather inconvenient. He... More

Our first trip to the highlands and was surprised by the beauty of this area. We spent 2 nights with Mrs Mackenzie and could not asked for anything more. Breakfast was excellent. Would like to stay again if we ever return to Ullapool.

My girlfriend and I stayed here on a wet windy evening and it was lovely! Cosy and well-equipped ensuite room, everything you needed and an absolutely superb breakfast. Perfectly situated a short walk from all the restaurants too. Will definitely be back!

I stayed here for six nights during the skiffieworldsand was very well looked after. The rooms are not large, as this is a traditional house, but everything is there, all very clean and tidy. It's a couple of minutes from the front too. Breakfasts were great and Mrs MacKenzie went out of her way to source some lovely smoked haddock... More

We enjoyed our days there. The breakfast was always excellent. You don’t need to ask for anything because you have everything and even if... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Carnoch Bed And Breakfast in Ullapool, Scotland. Must say this is a place we will return to – if ever visiting Ullapool again, that is. Our room was small but very cosy. It was very clean and newly painted. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious and ample (am a retired catering... More

Great location in Ullapool, a few streets back from the harbour but only a short walk. The rooms were cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The host not as warm and welcoming as others we had experienced, but friendly and helpful when it came to where to eat and what to see. Thanks for a great stay.
