Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

No breakfast despite both own website and booking.com stating Continental - not really difficult to provide. Wet room design meant that whole bathroom got wet, so just using toilet not ideal as floor wet with pooling. WiFi very poor or not ar all.

A very nice comfortable room in a small guest house. No breakfast, which was a shame, but a fridge and crockery so you can buy your own. Very close to the centre and easy to find., Nice friendly hosts. Good wet room with a great shower. Would recommend this.

You never know what to expect even looking at photos. A lovely short stay on our trek, Mairi was very welcoming and explained everything. A great room with lovely decor, and comfy bed. Great shower/wet room ! Wifi good as well. A short few minutes walk into town for dinner and harbour side, which we liked. The pheasant was very tame as well !! They do not do breakfast , which you are informed of when booking so you have the choice to book or not. We had breakfast in town, al fresco.

Our 3rd stop on the NC 500 was this wee gem in Ullapool. Modern, clean and comfortable room with a wet room en suite offering a great shower. Very different was the breakfast in the room which was a continental style in a fridge in the room! Cereal, yogurt, fruit and even bread for making toast! We enjoyed having a relaxing breakfast in our room before setting off again on our journey.

My wife and I stayed at Dacama House for only one night, whilst enjoying the North Scottish Roads on a Motorcycle. After a chilly days riding, to find the En Suite was a Wet Room with a Great Shower was a HUGE Boon... warming to the bone..!! The room was small, but very well equipped, had everything required. There was also a Fridge that had a “Continental” Breakfast already in it... the room also had Kettle and Toaster.... well, that was different we thought... But it worked out really well...!! Thanks Marie, we had a Lovely stay, and would definitely stay again..!! 👍

Dacama House is close to the heart of Ullapool, but not in the tourist strip visited by tourists and cruise ship travellers. Parking is plentiful and the hosts are just lovely people only too willing to assist with questions and directions. Our room was spotless and had all the d\facilities we could ask for, and more. The night was peaceful and the bed was very comfy.

We stayed one night here. I wish more of our stays were like this. The room was very clean, comfortable, and up to date. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travlers.

What a fantastic wee B&B this is. We stayed here during our NC500 trip and couldn't have asked for place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so Welcome ,Mairi was so friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean and the wet room was fantastic. The continental breakfast was lovely with a varied choice available(the wee fridge in the room was great idea). Really enjoyed our wee stop over and would highly recommend anyone heading to Ullapool to check the Dacama out..you won't be disappointed.

We had a one night stay here June 23rd 2017. Our en-suite double room was a good size with all the facilities you would need or expect. Whoever came up with the idea of the small fridge to house your breakfast is a genius - it makes it much more relaxed and provides every breakfast alternative bar a fry-up. There's plenty of parking at Dacama, Mairi was very friendly and helpful, good wifi and all (loads of places to eat and drink) Ullapool has to offer is just over a 5 minute walk away.

This was a perfect B and B!!! Mairi was an awesome host making sure we had everything we needed and even suggesting a great place to eat dinner. The place we ate was The Arch Inn and restaurant! The Haddock and chips were amazing...and you have to try the sticky toffee pudding! You could even walk there in about 20 mins on a nice day...but considering it was snowing when we were there...we choose to drive and there was parking in front of the inn. Back to the Dacama house! The rooms were very spacious...the wet bath was great. Everything was very clean and modern. I was a little weary of the breakfast from the idea of it online and in the reviews...but it was absolutely perfect! There were Plenty of choices and everything was very fresh! I would defiantly recommend this B and B to anyone visiting Ullapool!
