Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here after returning from the Outer Hebrides to Ullapool, the room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom and tea making facilities. We were very pleased with everything and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Thank you.

This b&b is literally a 5 minute walk from the centre of Ullapool so is convenient for restaurants, pubs, shops and the ferry. It is run by lovely people, is dog friendly and is really well furnished. Great breakfast too and our hosts, Alan and Sara, couldn't have been more accommodating.

I stayed here whilst touring Scotland with friends, great location with really friendly and helpful hosts, our rooms where spotlessly cleaned well equipped with very comfortable beds, a freshly cooked breakfast provided a great start to our day.

We stayed here during our tour of the Highlands recently. The hosts were most welcoming and friendly, our room was perfect and the breakfast was "spot on" .... just what we ordered, well cooked and delicious. Thank you for a great stay.

Fortunately we were able to get a room here after a long day travelling and no booking. We had two small dogs who were also welcome. The shower room is absolutely fantastic and spotlessly clean. Our room was above average and this was reflected in the price. Breakfast was fantastic according to my husband. Would highly recommended this B&B and would most certainly stay again.

Returning time after time to Broomvale Lodge is a pleasure. A warm welcome, along with a nothing is too much trouble attitude, is what makes this family owed and run B&B worth returning for. The house is clean and cosy, with friendly hosts, great value for money, and a super breakfast to boot.

We had a great stay at Broomvale. We had a lovely double room and a shared bathroom. For breakfast you can have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which is really delicious and much healthier than full scottish breakfast. There were also fresh fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We really enjoyed our stay! If you ever are in Ullapool chose Broomvale!

Just returned from a 3 night stay for the Loopallu Festival. Lovely accommodation and perfect hosts. 5 minutes walk from the harbour front. Great breakfast - full Scottish plus fresh fruit. Highly recommend.

I was only here for one night but enjoyed my room and the shared bathroom which was juge with a big shower. The owners are super friendly and breakfast was plenty (really good coffee too). The B&B is just a short walk to the bay and restaurants and pubs. If I'll ever be back in Ullapool I'll try and stay here again.
