Just wow. From the staff to the location. Just a short drive from the main town it’s well worth skipping the hotels and staying here. Great showers, toilets, washing facilities, lovely little store for anything you forgot snd the staff are all lovely also! Great for family’s snd singles. Big open fields off the main roads with the shore front an unbelievably short walk away!
This campsite is in a beautiful setting overlooking the water. The sunsets are out of this world, which was lovely as it was our anniversary we had champagne as we watched the sunset. . Toilets and showers were nice and clean.
No doubt that being in a motorhome at the sea front by the fence was a stunning location. A full site meant that facilities were under pressure - not particularly pleasant and lacked more vigilant cleaning. Otherwise a pleasant stay.
We travelled to this campsite straight ftom Port William and after long trip were pleasantly surprised with the view and facilities. We had a campsite pitch. It had plenty of space and great shower and toilet facilities. Staff was as well totally helpful and gave us great tips in terms of places to visit. Ullapool is just amazing and so much to do. The only downside, and that is nothing at all to do with campsite, I see that place does not have pedestrian paths. As a runner it was extreme to run on main and seemingly fast road. Achmelvich beach is a must see!
First time in a motorhome and first time doing nc500. Normally go abroad but with covid thought we’d try this type of holiday. I’ve read the reviews about unfriendly staff- I didn’t have this problem at all? Our pitch with electric hook up for our motorhome was one of the first on the left in front of reception. The sea is a stone throw away, literally! So peaceful and quaint. My kids spent hours on the pebble beach and the little play park. I’m glad it had a play park as last campsite never had a thing for kids. Also, my daughter went back and Forth on her wee bike for ages. Was great. Took a trip to Ullapool, took hardly anytime. Ullapool had a massive car park at Tesco’s that seemed to be a popular place for Motorhomes to park. Worth a trip as the village is so lovely. This campsite is fine! Nothing wrong with it at all! It’s slightly outdated in the facilities side of things, but to me the shower cubicles looked new? Just the building that’s old? It’s clean and specious. I would come here again for sure!…
