This is the best b and b I have ever stayed in! Wonderful modern rooms and bathrooms, decorated to a high standard, with good quality fixtures and fittings. Followed next morning by a cooked to order breakfast. Absolutely nothing to find fault with. Stay here.

When we were fortunate enough to find Ardvreck Guest House, we had been on the road for 8 days and needed to make a landfall as we had been changing locations each day. This 2 storey custom built guesthouse just outside Ullapool was just what we needed. We were able to secure a large room overlooking the Loch with a...

The warmest and kindest of welcomes, an outstanding position overlooking the loch , the tastiest of breakfasts and a comfy bed . Try not to kill the sheep wandering on the drive , who obviously haven't read the Highway Code. Wi fi can be a bit temperamental, so a good excuse if you're trying to avoid work stuff. This is...

We spent just one night here and it was excellent. Unfortunately there was torrential rain so we didn't get full advantage of the stunning views over the loch. It's set on a hillside just outside Ullapool, but the host even offered to take us in to town, a 5-minute drive. Breakfast was great, rooms nice. Proprietor very friendly. No complaints...

This is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views and comfortable rooms. The proprietor couldn't have been more helpful and went out of her way to help make us feel at home. We loved Ullapool and the area, lots to see and explore.

This B&B is in a great location if you wish to stay in Ullapool but, like me, prefer not to be in the village itself. It is quiet with superb views in both directions - towards Ullapool and out to the Summer Isles - but it only took a few minutes to drive down to the harbour to catch a...

We stopped here before getting the ferry from Ullapool. We were greeted warmly and there is a great view back down the loch to Ullapool. The room was a little dated with a coloured suite in the bathroom and plenty of pine in evidence but perfectly comfortable. The wifi was more miss than hit though that seems common in this...

Three nights at Ardvreck were delightful. A very warm welcome on arrival. Evelyn is a super hostess, spending nearly an hour going through all the local places to visit, where to eat etc.. Ardvreck is set on a high hill looking over Ullapool and has a very steep drive. However the views from the house are spectacular, especially from Room...

We recently had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at this delightful place. It is set on the hill high above Ullapool with spectacular views of the town, the Loch and the surrounding mountains. We were very warmly greeted by our hostess, Evelyn who made us extremely welcome. Although we did not get a view from our room, our accommodation...

Another year and another stay at Ardvreck.. It feels like home from home. Evelyn cannot do enough to make you feel at home. Some folks don't like the location being up a hill ouitside the town but for us it is ideal. Never had a problem getting into town or back. Beautiful location overlooking the water. Great breakfast with friendly...
