My wife and I greatly enjoyed our one night stay at the Riverside Guest House. Room was modern and immaculately clean. Parking was conveniently available out front. We were about 3 blocks from a very large Grocery and about 4 to 5 blocks (an easy walk) to the main area where the restaurants and boats were. Everything was easy regarding check-in and check-out. Be aware that they do not charge upfront with booking, so payment occurs upon your arrival. The morning breakfast provided was well done with several options. Great stay and would highly recommend! (Make sure you eat at the Seafood Shack. The food from this little food truck was amazing, and the gin drinks close by were also outstanding).

This is a really good bed and breakfast in Ullapool. Very professionally run and constantly upgraded to a very high standard. Warm, uncluttered decor, spotlessly clean. Great breakfast using quality ingredients. Welcoming sitting room for the use of guests - a bonus if you want to have a comfortable place to read or just relax in.

Perfect! From first step through the door we were were blown away by the standards set by this guest house. Excellent value for money combined with very modern room styling and comfortable bed. We will definitely recommend this Ullapool guest house to friends and family.

Ok so if I could give 4.5 that’s what I’d give but I’d rather give the 5 stars rather than 4. The place is easy to find and the owner is super friendly and nice. The rooms are very clean (thank you) and wow the bed is comfortable. I had a good sleep which is rare for me when it’s not my own bed. My super tiny issue was I could hear the other guests in their room, I’m not saying it’s a problem and I’d re book without a second thought. The breakfast routine was great: served from 8-9am. The buffet of help yourself yoghurt and cereal looked great but I only went for the hot option. It was okay, seemed fresh and was tasty. The coffee was OK. And all in it was a good price. It was just not as good as the one I was in last night

Riverside exceeded all my sister & I expectations, the room was extremely well furnished and very clean. We Had the best sleeps in very comfortable beds, good quality sheets and decent pillows, truly the best and most comfortable place we have stayed in Ullapool and we travel up there every year and have done for years, don’t know how we missed Riverside guest house on our previous jaunts. The pictures of the rooms on the website doesn’t do it justice, there was so much space, there was no wardrobe in the room but there were coat hangers provided, which suited us. Great choices on the breakfast menu and service was excellent and always served with a smile, disappointed that they did not offer evening meals but there are plenty local places to eat , which I would recommend you book in advance. There is no bar in the guest house but owner is happy for you to take in your own tipple and even has wine glasses and tumblers laid out in the lounge for guests to use, along with a kettle and tea & coffee, fabulous ! Can’t recommend Riverside Guest house highly enough, not sure how many stars it has but it’s not nearly enough in my opinion. …

Very friendly and helpful staff - they were happy for me to checkout late. Rooms well appointed and clean. Decent residents lounge. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Overall very good value. Would recommend as a good place to stay in Ullapool.

Lovely place and a superb breakfast, we stayed in room 11 and it was perfect. Everything was superb from check in to check out. Will definitely return here when we get the chance. Parking available right outside and only a short walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants.

staying here the owner was friendly asked us where we were from ( Doncaster South Yorkshire) asked where we had travelled from told us 3 places to get an evening meal ( February out of season ) the room is number 1 at the front of the building its modern exceptionally clean everything you need lovely ensuite looking forward to the breakfast in the morning :)

Nice base for touring around a beautiful area of Scottish Highlands. Used a lot for early passengers going to the Isle of Lewis and late travelers returning. Good sleep, good breakfast and a pleasant host with interesting advice if wanted.
